Hillcrest house is a wonderful place to stay ...so friendly and they have marmite for breakfast! Yay! We were on our fourth day of walking the Northumberland coastal path and knackered !!! The bath was incredible, bed comfortable and the view from the room , farmland to the sea, completely gorgeous! Thankyou !

We only had one very comfortable night here but thoroughly enjoyed it. Our host Malcolm was a gem and very welcoming. He also produced a very delicious English breakfast. It is perfect location for visiting Bamburgh castle and surrounding beaches. I highly recommend this B&B and would like to go back and stay a little longer.

We stayed here for one night to go to a wedding. Couldn't ask for anything more- our last minute arrangements turned out perfectly. Owner is so friendly, giving us a warm welcome - his son cooked us a really tasty breakfast with local produce. Couldn't fault the lovely big and comfortable room. We had a top weekend and the owner...

We had the family room - which really is the top floor with a large bedroom (room 3) and then a small single bedded room (room 4) and a bathroom to share between the two rooms. All was very clean, sell stocked with toiletries, nice towels soft bedding, tea, coffee, biscuits. The hot water tap sometimes was a bit wonky...

Excellent B&B close to all the attractions of Bamburgh. We were given a warm welcome and made to feel completely at home. Our room was huge with a lovely bathroom and views of the surrounding countryside and the sea. The lovely owner cooked us a perfect Northumbrian breakfast and told us interesting facts about the village. Tea and coffee is...

Malcolm was extremely welcoming and helpful and we felt very comfortable and relaxed. This property has three rooms - I was in Room1 with a separate large bathroom - and a breakfast room. The room was at the rear of the building with a view across fields and was quiet although there is little traffic anyway. Parking is on the public road outside and there is plenty of space. It is an easy...
