This is a pleasant hotel with a great view of the magnificent Bamburgh castle. The staff were very friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived. Our room was nice and looked over the main street and to the castle. The food was very good too. Parking was a bit hard as it is in the street and can get...

We visited The Lord Crewe whilst visiting the castle and beach. Great little place to enjoy lunch and just sit and enjoy the area. We unfortunately didn't have anything to eat whilst there but wish we had because the food being saved looked very very good indeed and the next time we are up there will definitely be eating here....

A very pleasant place for lunch after a visit to the castle. Food was reasonably priced with a good selection of local ales and a sunny patio area. The portion size was generous and talthough we sat outside the interior of the pub was warm and cosy

obviously many changes over the years but an excellent choice for peace and relaxation. Staff excellent and very helpful. Food good both in quality and quantity, chef obviously enjoys his cooking. Brought back many happy memories of my childhood from visiting places i have not seen for 50 years. Will return!!

Great place in the centre of Bamburgh. However I had the same problem as last year when calling in for a ploughmans lunch. Ham, coleslaw and pickle missing, asked the waitress if the meal was correct, she apologised and returned with the missing items, well nearly, we have ran out of coleslaw she says and whisked away without a hint...

Many years ago I came to Bamburgh and stopped at the "traditional" Lord Crewe Arms pub/hotel ........ and this last weekend mid March I treated my big sister (it is her birthday soon) to a long weekend break in Northumberland - and of course decided to make reservations to stay there. WHAT A SURPRISE! I was told that extensive updates...

Have just returned from 3 days at the Lord Crewe. This is a small hotel in an ideal spot in Bamburgh. The evening meals were excellent both in quality and quantity. The overwhelming impression of our stay was how obliging and helpful all the staff were. Nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely return.

Wife and I spent a Saturday night here as a bit of a treat in the gloomy New Year. Room was immaculate, food was well above average and the atmosphere suitably quirky. Service was excellent - attentive without being intrusive. The fact that it is a "bit out of the way" just added to the experience.

Lovely food, pleasant surroundings with attentive staff. Good choice of food and drinks in a warm venue. Don't sit next to the door, it can be cold in January. Food was hot and tasty. Unusual choice of vegetables and meat/fish beautifully done. Presentation excellent. Would recommend. 10/10
