Eaten here several times now. Each time the staff go out of their way and are really friendly. The food we find are hearty proportions, especially the "Giant Whale and chips", but always excellent in quality and taste. Dog friendly and also you can watch the Six Nations. One of the main reasons we love Beadnell.

While staying in Beadnell we looked for somewhere to eat and discovered this pub. It is a lovely old building with both beer garden and car park. We went in early on a Monday night so as expected the place was not overly busy. After asking for menus the waitress took our orders a few minutes later, then we waited...

Lovely nice clean well staffed place. Ample parking. Dogs are welcome in the back room. Food is fresh and very reasonable and staff are always polite and friendly. Always visit when back 'UP NORTH'. situated in small village 10mins from BAMBURGH. Has a small rocky landscaped beach, good for crab Hunting and for letting Auld faithful chase his ball

After braving Storm Doris and walking my pup Jasper on Beadnell beach while my wife and daughter stayed in the car (!) we drove round to the Craster Arms for lunch. Lovely Black Sheep Holy Grail on tap, and between us we had the pulled pork burgers, crab sandwiches and the tomato and red onion soup. J and E loved...

Dinner on Saturday evening is wonderful. Don't have anything to eat for lunch before you go to do the superb cooking justice. We had the Cod and Chips which was the best I have ever had and being from Yorkshire I am used to excellent Fish and Chips. The welcome and the service was also first rate. We tried to...

My wife booked a night away in Northumberland as a late Birthday present. The old village of Beadnell is lovely and staying in a 500 year old building was a novelty. The room was spacious and well equipped and nice and warm on a freezing night. We were welcomed very warmly by the bar manager who showed us to our...

Came in for lunch on a freezing day with our two dogs and was made very welcome. Had a lovely meat pie with veg and it was a big meal. Had bread and butter pudding for desert. Both really nice. Would come in here again next time we visit.

I think I found a rare location-an honest, value for money pub with rooms in an idyllic seaside town. I went to look at some new build holiday homes at Beadnell and needed to stay in the locale overnight. As my wife was away I took my 2 dogs[Walks on the marvellous beach] and so needed a "Dog Friendly" hostelry.Given a warm...
