Ok so its only our 27th year in Beadnell visiting again for Christmas. So have seen many changes; Craster Arms for the better under Chico's cuisine and enthusiasm with Michael. Down side ( and a first!) went to pub to eat 3 days after Christmas and there was more "not available" than available from the menu ( suppliers?) Am certain...

Great to see you back in Beadnell for Christmas. There we're a few issues with getting the correct supplies in over Christmas, so apologies that many dishes weren't available the day you visited. We really appreciate your understanding and you're right that it won't be repeated. Thanks for the review Nick and we look forward to seeing you in the...

This pub is very welcoming, when we arrived there was a lovely log fire blazing away and a Christmas tree up. The menu is very varied, the food we chose was delivered with a smile. The food was very tasty. The only thing we didn't like was the one armed bandit in the corner. The area we sat in was...

Nice place and location. Very friendly place. Just a bit disappointed with the food. Sweet and sticky ribs seemed to have been boiled with some shop bought rib sauce poured over with shop bought coleslaw on the side. Wasn't bad - just a bit disappointing. Home made slaw or rib sauce, or some oven roasting caramelisation would have been so...

Thanks for the review Tommy. Great to hear that you liked the pub and its location. We will put your comments to the chef, but all our food is made onsite, including the rib sauce. Glad you enjoyed the mussels, they are one of our most popular dishes.

Warmly welcomed by the barman, and the coal fire was warm also. Ordered food and drinks, as he poured Liz changed her mind, not a problem to the barman, who simply said he'd have to drink the one already poured himself ! Boiled ham sandwiches, thick slabs of hand carved meat. Well worth a visit

We had planned a long weekend break in Edinburgh to mark my mums 70th birthday and decided to break up the long journey from Sheffield with a full day in Northumberland exploring the area (Seahouses, Bamburgh, Holy Island & Beadnell) and an overnight stay at the Craster Arms before continuing our journey. After a great day exploring the area we...

Excellent weekend at Craster Arms. We parked our motorhomes in the car park from Friday to Sunday. No charge, however we did have dinner in the pub Friday and Saturday nights (no pressure from the owner). The food was excellent. Superb service. Good selection of beers. Our dog was welcomed in the restaurant. Very cozy and friendly. And we received...

Following a days shopping in Newcastle and a Family drop off in Whitley bay, we decided to have an overnight stop on our return journey to Scotland, we had booked the Craster Arms several weeks ago, as we wanted somewhere quiet and restful for a good meal and great accommodation. Very comfy room but a bit hot as the thermostat was not working but it did not spoil our stay. food was great and the portions were plentiful for hungry travellers. The surrounding area is beautiful with lovely beaches and charming country pubs to visit.

My husband & I stayed at this friendly pub for two nights, our room was clean & comfortable and the breakfast was lovely. We also had a beautiful meal there with good wine - all at a very reasonable price. However, be prepared to walk/drive if you want a little bit more to do, thank you for looking after us.

First of all, the positives. The bar is spacious, warm, clean and nicely decorated. There is an area for customers with dogs, and outside, lots of tables to use in the summer. The young serving/bar staff were appropriately friendly, charming and efficient. We ordered a large gin and tonic and a pint of beer. I was offered a choice of...

Thanks for the review Margret. Glad to hear that your husband enjoyed his experience with us and you both found the staff friendly.
