    It was a choice between this and the Swan across the road. Wrong choice. A local told me later that it depends on which chef is on duty as to how good the food is. I hope the one we had was the poor one....More

    LaLa1951 has answered exactly as I Would Another spot worth a visit is Amble marina. I am sur you will enjoy the people and places of northumberland.

    The superior room was more expensive. It was quite large and had a four poster bed, small table and an armchair. Big ensuing. However the condition of the room was far from superior.
