On our UK-concert tour, we were very happy to visit also Berwick upon tweed, where we played at the Barrels Ale House (very typical and worth a visit too..). We're really lucky to choose the great B&B of Derek and Dianne Toward, 'cause it is a very calm and though close to the center located place, where the family took...

When we entered the room, number4, it took our breath away. Tasteful décor all made by Diane the owner. The bed a super king size was very comfortable. The view from our window looked out over the estuary which was full of swans. The breakfast plentiful and tasty. A small fruit bowl of strawberries, kiwi fruit and blueberries was placed...

Just back from a 2 night stay in 11 Quay Walls and I cannot recommend it highly enough. Derek and Diane were welcoming hosts. Our room was well equipped, carefully decorated and spotless! The bed was so comfy and the view amazing. The bathroom was quite small but again spotless so there was no issue with it. The system for...

Derek and Dianne have created a comfortable, stylish B&B with simple, tasteful décor, spacious, airy rooms, a fantastic spacious bathroom in Room 1 and a Northumberland breakfast second to none. It is a place of great character, perched on the city walls, with awesome views over the Tweed and the three bridges. Nevertheless, I most remember the warm and friendly...

Rooms spotless and beds very comfy. Derek and Diane were excellent hosts nothing too much trouble. Food was spot on.... Diane's porridge was the best I have ever tasted!! We had a lovely view of the River Tweed from our room. Good location only 5 mins from the town centre. Will definitely go again.

This excellent B & B is about 15 minutes walk from the train station. It is on the walls of Berwick Upon Tweed - you can walk out of the front door and walk right round the walls and end up back at the B & B again. You can also see the train viaduct which is lit up at...

Stayed for one night with two friends prior to riding the Pennine cycle route and couldn't fault our stay in any way. A garage in which to store our bicycles, Derek and his wife were very friendly and hospitable hosts, the room was perfectly appointed with a comfy bed, TV, tea making and strong wifi signal. The breakfast was a...

We stayed here for one night after walking the Northumberland Coastal Path. We received a warm welcome from Derek, our friendly host and were shown to our room which was comfortable and well equipped with great decor (an African theme) and a stunning view of the river. The en-suite was also very attractive, spotlessly clean and well stocked with soaps...

We started here for three nights and had a great time. The owners are really friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. We stayed in room 4, which was light and airy and fully en suite. Very quiet at night, despite being so close to down town. The room has a lovely view over the river. Access is from...
