We keep coming back, too many years to count but it is just the most beautiful spot for everyone. Teenagers fully occupied in cricket, swimming and tennis - hardly see them. Wonderful spa for the adults which you frequently have to yourself. The scenery is spectacular and what with the curlews in the field beyond and the hares running past...

It was our second holiday at Beacon Hill and we stayed in Stable Cottage which is one of the smaller houses but with the most wonderful view from the big picture window south across the valley towards Newcastle. The cottage is very comfortable and well equipped. We had our daugher and son-in-law visiting for a few days and were very...

This was our ninth year at Beacon Hill Farm - testimony to the facilities, accommodation and the opportunities to relax either on site or further afield in the unspoilt countryside of Northumberland. If you wish to get away from it all this is an ideal spot to breathe in the country air right on your doorstep. Highly recommended.

These cottages are marketed as luxury and they certainly are. We went up for a holiday and as I used to live in Northumberland, to visit old friends and old haunts. The position of these cottages make for an easy ride up to the borders, south towards Durham, east to the fantastic coast or west up to Rothbury or into...

We had not been back for about ten years having previously visited on five or six occasions. We stayed in Ash Cottage which is very comfortable and well appointed as are all the cottages that we have stayed in. Lots of birds - those nest boxes have paid off. We spent a tranquil afternoon at Meg's Lake. The pool and...

I recently went to Beacon Hill farm for some spa treatment. Val looked after me and did a great job, she very kindly took me a short tour of the facility and cottages. it's a beautiful place tucked away in the hills of Northumberland. I only live 20 miles away but considering a weekend rental with my family to enjoy...

This was our second visit to Beacon Hill, this time staying in Oak Cottage. The cottage is perfect for a self-catering holiday, the beds are comfortable and the views wonderful. Expect to see plenty of wildlife, from small birds to big hares, and an occasional red squirrel (and possibly an owl as dusk sets in!) You have plenty to see...

We enjoyed a terrific visit to Beacon Hill Farm in May. The combination of excellent facilities, beautiful cottages and a stunning location make for a family holiday which is hard to beat. We have already booked another week at Beacon Hill later in the year!

We enjoyed a very peaceful and relaxing two weeks in Quarry House watching the abundant wildlife through the large lounge windows, which included a red squirrel, deer, fox, owl, hares and numerous birds. In fact this house provides the perfect hide for wildlife lovers. Help and advice is at hand should you need it, otherwise you can just enjoy the...

Just back to normality after our second visit to Beacon Hill Farm which was, just like last year, a lovely home away from home with the added extras of spa, pool and onsite beauty treatments. And, just like last year, I'd booked to come again before I'd even left.
