Second time we've stayed here and enjoyed it thoroughly on both occasions. The quirky decor and varied style of rooms makes this place very different in a good way. Friendly staff together with an excellent Italian restuarant immediately across from the hotel, make this place a definite stopover when visiting Wooler.

What a lovely place, from the inside tree with fairy lights-love fairy lights, to the service- lovely people , to the food. Fresh and tasty food, lots of it, couldn't eat it all. Great deals and a lesson in foil ducks, so that left over chicken even made our dog happy!!

While mostly open to hotel guest in thw morning. They were very accommodating and allowed me to simply hand around. The ambiance is charming and I imagine a dimmer would be enjoyed thoroughly. Charlie was an excellent hoast, checking to see if I needed anything and offering suggestions when I needed something unavailable. Cheers No. 1 in Wooley and thank...

We had been recommended this hotel by a colleague so when we were looking for somewhere for a treat weekend away we thought we would give it a go. As it was recommended we sort of knew what to expect, however our expectations were exceeded right from the start. We were greeted in reception by the very friendly Stephanie who...

A warm welcome and a warm hotel with a excellent price made this a welcome find for an unexpected visit to Northumbria. The decor was definitely designed to complement the Wine Lounge and was interestingly different. The staff were friendly and helpful and we had a relaxing glass of wine in the busy wine lounge before crossing the road to...

Wouldn,t say it was posh but wouldn,t say it was basic either.. probably somewhere in between. However the staff were very friendly and as the same people own the milan...

Very quirky with its trees, branches and fairy lights. We arrived well before the 3:00pm check in and just wanted to check it was ok to park in the...

My husband booked room 4 as a Valentines treat. We visited last year but only for a drink. The room was fab with super sized bed and roll top bath. We were booked in to Milan for a meal but almost tempted not to go out! Everything you needed was in the room. Very clean and well decorated. The breakfast...
