Stayed here on Saturday night, as at an event in Nottingham. Stayed in family room, as me and my teenager, but was more than enough room. It's not the most luxurious room, but it's an old building, and was more than adequate, although configuration of room was a bit odd. Had a really good evening meal, along with a drink,...

We stayed here for one night as we attended to a wedding locally. All the staff were very , welcoming, friendly and helpful. Room had everything you need for one night. Very comfy bed and nice breakfast. The owner, Craig, was very helpful. Really good service. We recommend it to everyone!!! :)

Stayed here for one night as attending a wedding locally. Very welcoming and helpful with good full English in the morning. The room was a bit small but everything spotless. Were able drop off our bag early and get our room as we were leaving our car at the wedding venue over night.

Had an evening meal the week before Christmas. Food was very poor, we were the only people in the restaurant and yet the service was slow. There was only the manager working both the bar and restaurant He tried hard to find something which was acceptable for a vegetarian meal, however the result was a meal which was of a...

The Old Ship Inn was recommended to me when I needed a room fro the 24th to the 27th December. The Landlord and his staff were very welcoming and treated me like a family member. The room was comfortable and clean and I was offered breakfast on boxing day, even though the chef was off. The same applied at dinner,...

Fantastic breakfast good price rooms where comfy and warm, beers where great plenty of choice very friendly staff/manager, no problem with locals but you expect them in any local village. Would stay again and try the restaurant.

Don't expect corporate carpets and king-size beds, but the room i stayed in was perfectly serviceable, if small, but it's for sleeping in, not ballroom dancing. The linen was crisply fresh, the room warm, the bed just right and I slept well. It IS a pub, and on a Saturday night is lively- it seems the heart of the village....

We, fortunately, only stayed one night. The room was so small that the bed was against one wall. If the need had arisen it would have necessitated a climb over to get to the bathroom! The bathroom was similarly very small with a handbasin so tiny that water splashed over the floor when the taps were turned on. It was...

Stayed in a twin bedded room, the mattresses were inadequate, had a really bad nights sleep. The amenities in the room were OK, but no Wi-Fi and the reception on the TV was terrible. Staff friendly and polite.
