This is a small hotel, with the rooms in the original redbrick farmhouse. The staircase and room doors still seem to be original but inside the rooms there is no indication you are in an older building. Room was quite large and everywhere very clean. I had the feeling I was staying in somebody's guest room rather than a hotel...

6 of us visited The Redbrick House for Sunday Lunch. We met up in the Lounge and our orders were taken whilst we were having our drinks. Our table was ready for us on time and the food was delicious. The plates were hot and the vegetables plentiful. The staff were very pleasant and efficient and we had an excellent...

Hello, with regards to the cd player we do apologise for this being missing. The maintenance man had trouble with getting BBC 1 & BBC 2 on the TV set and replaced it with another TV not realising the one he had replaced had a built in cd player .Unfortunately it was not picked up till a week later and...

Returned recently from a relaxing break in a genuine log cabin or lodge. Not one of those that advertise a log cabin stay and is actually a chalet/ caravan! Fabulous open plan area, with under floor heating, and all amenities, set in natural woodland. The luxury of relaxing in a hot tub, 'listening' to the peace and quiet, then returning...

This was booked through Hoseasons. We stayed in Sherwood Lodge. The lodge was lovely and spacious with 3 bedrooms - one large upstairs with ensuite bathroom and walk in wardrobe. Downstairs there were 2 bedrooms - one with a double bed and the other with 2 single beds and a bathroom with a shower. The kitchen was large - equipped...

We had left our Christmas gathering booking till late and the only place left that we could get in was this one! Should of been a sign really!! We were asked to prebook our meal before the evening which is fair enough but the choice was very limited, vegetarian or non vegetarian basically! The food was ok but not great...

Just finished a week stay at the sherwood lodge. We stayed in the oakridge earlier in the year. Sherwoods kitchen is far better. Ample storage and a seperate freezer. The living area is slightly smaller to accomodate the kitchen but more than enough. Bedrooms large enough for our needs but would recommend Oakridge if u need all rooms to have...
