Good night stay, check-in took a while but rooms were good. Nicely decorated and beds very comfortable. Bath room was clean and spacious. No irons in the rooms but did seem to have a few in storage when I asked for one

Nice hotel. Room was good. Very hot! Not cheap at 115 for a double 1 night. Disappointing breakfast for the price. Fatty undercooked bacon. Undercooked almost raw mushrooms and tomatoes. Whole breakfast stone cold. Cold flavourless coffee. And general Disappointing. Expected better for the price.

An absolutely amazing experience... it was our first anniversary and they upgraded us to a suite for £30 extra. Vanessa on reception was a complete star and the ladies who looked after the room could not have been more helpful.... an amazing hotel and one we will definitely re-visit when next in Thame. However one minor criticism...The breakfast was very...

My husband and I stayed at the hotel after attending a local wedding. Whilst we accept the room is one of the five that still requires updating, we didn't expect that there there to be zero water pressure in the taps and toilet, a 1960's style ash tray next to the toilet (no smoking allowed - although it was clear...

Been a few times and Iv decided not to come back. The rooms vary hugely from average to terrible. The last two visits my room wasn't level and was freezing!

We recently held our wedding at The Spread Eagle Hotel and booked out most of their hotel rooms for wedding guests. The hotel is great and our wedding day was fabulous beginning to end. The staff could not have been more helpful in terms of running the event, the food on our wedding day was fabulous (no mean feat for...

The Spread Eagle is a nice place to stay, especially in comparison to other places nearby. My room was rather cramped and I had to place my case on the bed to remove my clothes. The furniture is beautiful and old stile, but because it was so cramped it wasnt too functional. The bathroom was ok, but small. The doors...

This is a charming little hotel situated right in the middle of Thame High Street where there are plenty of good shops and great pubs to relax in. The hotel has plenty of old world character without the familiar large corporate hotel feel. The rooms are pleasant and warm although they are not tremendously modern they are clean and tidy....

The Good, Very quaint surroundings, nice decor, sorry thats it. The Bad The Afternoon Tea option was disgraceful. 'Delicate finger sandwiches' we got 2 each, slivers of processed white bread, lashings of margarine, and inedible filligs. 'Home made cake', more like a tray bake from Sainsburys. 'Home made scones', home made in the supermarket maybe. Food was disgusting, and for...

Possibly the worst eating experience I've ever had! Don't do this! Save your Money!! We decided for our next venue Afternoon Tea at The Spread Eagle. We found our way to function room. Then the food arrived ... It went downhill from then! The plated selection sandwiches arrived. Unimaginative. Not nicely displayed, some untidy. Not on a tiered display, just...
