OK first I would like to say that all the staff we encountered during our short stay deserve the 4* rating.. However the hotel does not. I have stayed in many hotels across the UK and this ranks as quite possibly the worst. Yes it has a pool and other leisure facilities but its very tired regarding decor, it's dirty...

Nice hotel. Clean rooms and public areas. Good facilities pool etc. Restaurant serves excellent buffet breakfast and good choice for dinner. There is a nice bar with open fire. Situated on a roundabout just off A40 great location for pretty market town of Whitney. Would recommend.

This a nice place but for a couple of things , the doors need to be soft close as you here a lot of door slamming, the showers need up dateing , the beds in the family rooms are zip together and there is a hard bit in the middle , bar food is ok , the pool is not...

Where to start there was so much that was so bad about this hotel. started at check in with the arrogance and disinterest of the chap on reception so much so that 3 of my colleagues also spontaneously commented on how bad he was. TV the size of a postage stamps. No cable TV I was initially put in the...

This place is a real mixed bag, hence the average rating. The breakfast was pretty good (gluten free toast available on request) and there's plenty of parking. On the flipside, the Reception staff were uninformed and unhelpful, the bed was lumpy and springy, dirty bed sheet (no offer of a replacement) and the whole place is a tired and in...

I don't have anything negative to say about this hotel, but also there is nothing to say that makes it stand out from any other hotel. The rooms were clean but soulless. The food was nice, breakfast buffet with plenty of options. Extensive menu for evening meal, food was hot and plenty of it. Swimming pool was good, especially as...

Stayed here at the start of October for one Saturday night in a deluxe room as a treat. Had a massive room on the top floor which was lovely and this is recommended. We arrived to a drunk guest in reception trying to book a room who was refusing to leave - a little off putting as he should just...

We had 1 night here on a Blenheim and Bletchley Park trip. Check in was fairly quick. The twin room was clean and comfortable. My friend had a slight problem getting hot water for the shower and the head spun but ok for me, although the curtain let water onto the floor. Signs of the door being wet/water marked so...

The first major problem is the hotel layout; that is confounded by having no lift. This is unfortunate as the rooms are well proportioned and serviced. I had a room on the second floor which was more like a suite. The staff are pleasant and helpful but they cannot overcome the dull, unwelcoming public rooms. The dining room has a...

Stayed at this hotel 15th October 2016 very mediocre and not worth the money, better off staying in a premier inn! We're server raw meat for dinner, flush in bedroom didn't work neither did the kettle, room height issue with mind your head poster on wall. Bathroom floor needed cleaning with pubic hairs and other hairs on there! Definitely wouldn't...
