All good (except for the weather)! Very well kept park; clean & comfortable lodge with everything you could need including a useful DVD player; helpful reception desk. They even supplied a welcome basket of essentials. Nice peaceful countryside all around. Good for fishing if that's your thing (extra charges apply).

We enjoyed our time at ashlea pools, although the weather was bad , we had a nice relaxing 4 days in a lodge that had everything we needed, including a welcome pack. The only thing I would suggest is some slabbed fishing pegs. Overall a lovely place.

Kingfisher Plus Lodges have almost everything you would need to enjoy a self catering break with the luxury of a hot tub. To make it 5 star we would have liked a free BBQ and wifi. Staff were very friendly and helpful. My dog loved the Dog Run - a big enough enclosed area to chase the ball and get...

Thank you for your great comments about the lodge and hot tub, we are currently working on installing wifi, this is taking longer than what we first thought. You can hire BBQ's from reception with a charcoal for £25 per stay. We are glad your dog also enjoyed their stay and the park facilities, we like ALL our guests to...

The lodge was fabulous and very clean . We enjoyed the trip a lot because the place itself was very beautiful and there were many places to visit (they all like approximately 20 miles away ). The staff were very helpful . The downside was only the street inside the park were bit dusty Thanks to the management and staff

Thank you very much for your lovely comments, we are currently expanding the park and as soon as this is finished the park owners plan to tarmac the rest of the park. We are glad you enjoyed visiting the lovely places we have in south Shropshire. Leanne-Reception

I couldn't fault this place at all. The cabins were perfect, had everything you need and was very well equipt an very clean! The hotubs are great too an get cleaned everyday! It didn't bother us to not have wifi or signal in the cabins as this meant good quality time was spent. Staff are lovely and very helpful. Wish...

We booked into the Mandarin lodge for four nights as we desperately needed a relaxing break. The setting of the lodges is amazing, exactly what we needed. The only noise you will hear is the occasional train that passes by, but it is not disturbing in any way. The lodge is amazingly equipped, everything you need is there I.e. Fridge,...

My husband and I and two small children stayed here in July in the Mandarin plus number 7. Quiet and peaceful area. The lodge was lovely although it did require some updating in certain areas. It had everything we needed for our stay, except a freezer or even an icebox in the top of the fridge. The website does state...

We travelled around 3 hours to get here & it was definitely worth it! The welcome basket was lovely! The lodge was spacious. I think we stayed in a Kingfisher VIP. The staff were lovely & friendly. Wifi/Signal wasn't great but I found that to be a great thing! We both spend far too much time on social media so...

Beautiful cabin, finished to a high quality with great customer service. Instructions need to be a bit more clearer for the hot tub and other appliance. Lovely scenery, and great nearby pubs, restaurants and walks

“We were in Mandarin Duck lodge, number 46. Not one of the newest, but fine - and nice & warm. Overlooks a lake. Quite near a railway line (behind a tall hedge), but few trains so didn't bother us. And you can visit Shrewsbury on the train if you want - the station is walking distance. ”
