We booked our two night stay at the Washouse as we were visiting relatives in Much Wenlock. Our first impression was how spotlessly clean it is, a lovely room with really comfortable twin beds, separate from the owner's accommodation. The B&B is in a very quiet location with hardly any passing traffic, and no noisy pubs too close. The breakfast...

What makes this B&B stand out from the run of the mill is that it is in a spearate building from the home of the owners. This benefits both guests and owners - privacy, separate entrance, etc. Also it is the only B&B I have stayed at where you can eat a takeway, as long as you eat it in...

I lived in Much Wenlock 60 years ago and it still holds fond memories for me so I just had to stay there when visiting the Shrewsbury Flower Show but I didn't expect to find such a great B&B as this. Lyn and Keith are the perfect hosts and made us feel welcome from the start. The Washouse is spotless,...

We had a very pleasant stay at The Washouse, very warm welcome. Nice to have room away from main house, felt that you were in your own home not someone else's. breakfast excellent. We will return in the Summer.

My three friends and I chose the Washouse because it was separate from the hosts house, and had single beds while still providing breakfast. It is situated just one road back from the main shopping street of Much Wenlock, a glorious old town. It has a completely separate entrance from the main house and is very quiet and private, the...

We stayed here for one night with our 3 year old daughter. It was a twin room and we brought our own children's inflatable bed for our daughter with us, but there was plenty of room for 3 of us. The room was spacious, comfortable, and tastefully decorated. It was equipped to a high standard, the beds were comfortable and...

A very pleasant welcome was given to us on our arrival at this modern conversion in the centre of the historic village. The bedrooms are spacious and warm and the breakfast provided was excellent. It is within easy walking distance of several good places for an evening meal. An ideal location for visiting Ironbridge and other market towns in the...

This is a great place - the rooms are spacious and clean, the beds comfy, the towels thick and the breakfast very good indeed. The hostess is thorough and welcoming (was impressed how she remembered all of our names after one introduction) and it's located smack in the middle of Much Wenlock. Rates are reasonable too.

Four of us stayed for 1 night in this small b & b. Very helpful hostess, comfortable rooms, nice breakfast. No wifi. Right In the centre of the gorgeous Much Wenlock. Well-priced.
