We had our yuletide party at this fine establishment- a thoroughly enjoyable 5/5 evening from start to finish - a very warm greeting( and mulled cider) at the start a brief tour of the workshop, before being let loose on the wheels ourselves - afterwards what followed was a truly scrumptious serving of gastronomical delights - I alone stayed at...

Attended for a hen party, having a go at pottery. We had tea and cake provided for us which was delicious and Sheila had even gone to the trouble of buying a "hen party" helium balloon - very thoughtful. We each got to make a small pot / mug etc under great supervision. Our own creations on the practice wheels...

A one night stop but a most welcoming stay. Met by both hosts (plus a friendly woof from the resident canine). Offered a naughty tipple or tea/coffee. Took the former as you do! Room was....well...roomy! Really nice, all the necessary amenities. Had our own access from the courtyard to the room via a short stairway where there was our own...

Our fourth stay in this small B&B. Lovely cooked breakfast (as usual), comfortable large room, lovely quiet and private. As this is a working pottery we have now invested in a new teapot and mugs. Thanks Mike & Shelagh.

Didn't stay at the B&B but it looked beautiful, and I intend to arrange a weekend there so. We went to try our hand on the pottery wheel (8 ladies for a hen weekend). Great fun, not hurried at all, excellent teacher, and we produced some, er, interesting pieces. Before this, we had lunch there and the food was fantastic....

Cannot contradict any of the nice comments made here. We'll be back if not earlier then at least next year. Food is great, beds are very comfy (and we're very picky), the milk is fresh and in a jug (not those vile little tubs), welcome is great. I don't think I've ever been in a better B & B.

This was a first time for me travelling alone after losing my husband and it could not have been better - comfort, friendliness, a wonderful welcome, superb food and no extra charge for being alone - you could not wish for better, excellent.

I've just had my 60th Birthday Party at the wonderful Much Wenlock Pottery. Everyone had a lovely time from aged 1 year to ???!! The plentyful food was outstanding ( not a scrap left, most people having seconds!!!) Everyone is very friendly and accommodating. I would recommend Much Wenlock Pottery to anyone who is looking for a stress-free, happy party.

Many people run B&Bs but few get it so right. How wonderful to stay somewhere that makes you feel so welcome the minute you arrive as if you had known them ages. This working pottery has 3 rooms- the double upstairs is huge with a wonderful wood burning stove. A glass of wine as you pour out of your car...
