I visited the Wynnstay last Sunday with 3 friends on their Sunday night Spa break special. The deal included full use of the Spa; a 25 min treatment each; 3 course evening meal; overnight accommodation and a full English breakfast in the morning. The Spa We didn’t use the Gym but did use the swimming pool area. The area is...

Staying at the Wynnstay hotel in owswestery, brilliant service, professional, spotless clean, good parking area, lf there is any criticism, in my opinion the price of the alcohol touching the top end. But I will be back again in September.

We used the Wynnstay in Oswestry for its central location for our 3days of walking . The Wynnstay is centrally located opposite the church , it has its own car park. The hotel staff were very welcoming and helpful. We had a double en-suite room facing the church, the room was a good size with plenty of room for our...

Thank you for taking the time to review our hotel and for your kind comments. We are lucky that our hotel is very centrally located with easy access. And our menus and dishes are carefully prepared using as much local ingredients as possible to give our customers a wide choice. And what could be more perfect than to relax in...

We had lunch here with friends just before Christmas. 2 of us had fish which although it was nicely cooked came with a mix of veg which included diced potatoes, it would have been nice to have a separate serving of potatoes and it definitely felt like something was lacking. My husband had the turkey which he enjoyed. There were...

Thank you for taking the time to review our hotel. We are sorry that we did not meet your expectations and that you found blips in our service. Unfortunately a number of our Christmas staff are no longer with us but the lack of knowledge should not have happened as all staff are trained and told what is expected from...

Just spent three nights at the Wynnstay Hotel, a warm welcome and overall relaxing stay. Well done to the chef and his team, dinner was beautifully cooked and presented. Good parking. Our large room at the front of the hotel was comfortable (once we got the heating temperature as we wanted) but the road noise was a little disturbing first...

We booked for my parents 31st Wedding anniversary and we really not disappointed. We received a warm welcome and were shown to our table in good time. We opted for the Four Seasons Menu which offered 3 courses for £19.95 pp. There was a great range of starters, mains and desserts. Out of the 6 of us, no one had...

We booked this hotel as it was central to where we needed to be. After a sleepless night, we wish we hadn't. Being on the main road, we expected the noise of the traffic and the church bells, what we didn't quite allow for was the level of noise from the hotel function... we would have found more peace if...

Thank you for taking the time to review our comments and we are sorry to hear your stay was not to your satisfaction. If we had a function on in the hotel, this should not have been heard at the front and you would have been made aware of one in your booking confirmation email. We usually only have live...

Nice old coaching inn in a pleasant town with easy access to some beautiful countryside. We found this hotel to have a comfortable yet slightly upmarket feel to it. It's in a great position just out of the town centre which has plenty of pubs, restaurants and cafes (oh and some shops too). There is a lovely area at the...

Thank you for taking the time to review our hotel. We are sorry our hotel did not meet your expectations. Our hotel is undergoing renovations which unfortunately have created alot of dust throughout, although this is not an excuse for uncleanliness and shall be looking into and discussed with our housekeeping department. With regards to our breakfasts, we usually get...

We always head for the Wynnstay when spending a day in Oswestry. It is a charming old hotel with comfortable areas to have morning coffee, lunch etc., and the bar staff are so friendly and helpful. The lunchtime bar food is excellent and it is so good to find such an oasis in a busy town.

This is the 2nd time we've stayed here recently, this time we stayed for 3 nights over a two week period. The location of this hotel is ideal and the staff are lovely. We stayed in a twin room, a different room on both visits. The first room has been updated, lovely shower, the second room is dated so I'm...

Thank you for taking the time to review our hotel. The hotel at present, is in the middle of a refurbishment program and as you commented some rooms are more up to date than others. Being a small hotel we can only do one room at a time but we do understand this can be frustrating to our guests. We...
