This is as good as it gets; expect to be warmly welcomed and comfortably lodged in Cameron and Maggie's spacious, well appointed home. Notwithstanding the super rooms, lovely hosts and excellent facilities it turned out the best was yet to come. After an aperitif in the lounge we entered the candlelit dining room and were treated to a fantastic dinner... More

We arrived at this hotel at 9 o/c that night after having had a problem with our car and even though it was so late Cameron arranged a meal for us. This is an excellent B & B in which we were made to feel more like visitors of the family rather than paying guests. If I had have been... More

Cameron and Maggie are great hosts, Cameron is an excellent Chef and will go out of his way to assist in getting what you choose for the evening meal, Best Fillet Steak ever. Great location, well worth a trip into Shrewsbury for the shops and then a walk along by the river.

My husband and dog stayed here for 2 nights recently. Cameron and Maggies' hospitality is second to none and the whole place is fabulous. We have stayed at 5 star placed in the UK as well as many places around the world and I can honestly say this is by far and away the best. Cameron's breakfast and dinner is... More

We picked Greystones for its location, close to Errdig Hall, Chirk and Powis Castles, and because it had a ground floor room for my elderly father-in-law. As we were travelling from London, we took the opportunity of booking an evening meal, particularly as we didn’t want to search for a local restaurant after such a long journey. I can honestly... Greystones is an excellent and comfortable Guesthouse with luxurious bedrooms and lounges. Breakfast and Dinner were mouthwatering. The property had extensive, attractive and well maintained gardens. The location was very peaceful and relaxing. Mine hosts were very personable and did everything they could to make their guests comfortable.

If you are seriously trying to diet, then Greystones is not for you! Otherwise this is the perfect B&B. Lovely hosts, great rooms with everything you could possibly want, and excellent food. Everthing was spotlessly clean, and the bed was very comfortable. All in all more like a quality hotel than a guest house.

A fantastically warm welcome awaited us at Greystones, where we were met by the owners, and immediately felt comfortable and at home. We were shown to the Orchard Suite and it was huge and so sumptuous. I felt I had walked into a palace. We had windows overlooking the garden, where rabbits obligingly played and kept me amused and a... More

A very warm welcome, beautiful grounds, spotless, fully equipped and large suite & breakfasts of the highest quality. The personal touches such as the complimentary sherry/port in our room and remembering it was our anniversary with a card at breakfast were great examples of the little things that made it a very special weekend away. Plenty to do in the... More

If you like large spacious room, cosy bathrobes, complementary flask of sherry and port (refilled each day), comfortable beds, silent nights (and days), nice coffee, and love your food this is definitely a place for you. But above all the warm welcome of maggy and Cameron made our stay some what exceptional. One tip stay for dinner if you can,... More
