he hotel is very far from being ideal for a spa break. There is no access to bath robes in the room or 'Spa area, the towels in the leisure area were threadbare, the sauna is out of order indefinitely due to guest misuse, the changing rooms are dark . There is no chance of relaxing by the pool as...

I purchased a Murder Myster weekend for my Mom's birthday. She and my dad both thoroughly enjoyed the weekend trying to solve this themed murder mystery. The food was good and so were the other products and services available at this hotel. The grounds were beautiful and spectacular; perfect for a lovely walk after luch or dinner. They had afternoon...

So, a Murder Mystery weekend was our choice for my wife and I along with my son and daughter in law. Haughton Hall is a fair travel from Kent, but I feel it was worth every moment. A grand manor on grand settings with grand rooms was a perfect setting for a "Murder" with a very professional act. The staff...

I have to say that before I placed this review, I sent it to Haughton Hall to give them right to reply and discuss the points mentioned before they were made public. After 7 days they failed to acknowledge or respond to my email. Me and my wife booked to stay at Haughton Hall from Thursday 11th May through till...

As you enter the long drive up to the hotel, you are invariably excited for the view of the hotel at the end. It doesn't disappoint. Wood panelling and austere corridors wind around to reception where you think you have chosen well. Maybe you have, maybe you haven't. I was given room 17, a tawdry little pit above a function...

We stayed here for one night on a Travel Zoo break which included Bed breakfast, Evening meal and a bottle of wine in the room. We upgraded to the Manor House, room 23 which was very nicely presented, and a large walk in bathroom. Bottled water and home made biscuits which was a lovely touch. As other people have previously...

I visited today as a guest on a spa day package. I firstly wanted to compliment the chef on an exceptional afternoon tea. I have an allergy to eggs and fish and the hotel was informed of this on booking. Whilst in the leisure complex a member of staff came to check exactly what I could and could not eat....

Set in beautiful surroundings. The hotel is a maze to find your way around. The room itself was quite small, but it has everything we needed. There was a disco downstairs, and the sound travelled really easily – but it was all over my midnight. Friendly staff.

Checked in at 9pm, out by 7am so did not get to sample many facilities. Reception and bar staff all very helpful, bar food was fine, breakfast also good. Room was in adjacent block, not that modern but clean and comfortable. Same price as a budget hotel so no complaints and the setting is nice.

Today I visited Haughton Hall Hotel for the first time to attend a spa day for my friends 40th. The hotel itself from what I saw of it looked very picturesque & nice, but our spa day was not in the actual hotel itself it was in the leisure building just off from the hotel. The pool was nice, not...

Dear Samantha M Thanks for your recent review. The vast majority of our Spa Days that are sold via vouchers actually include an afternoon tea package which is always taken in the hotels restaurant, and the organiser of your group was told in advance that there is no food served in the leisure club and that guests do need to...
