The bedrooms are a little tired, we have worked our way through the best & worst, including the four-poster. Staff are always polite & helpful. Food generally very good indeed. Nice public rooms & garden. Good swimming pool.

Hi Bar and wine prices are very reasonable for a hotel and are in line with local pubs too. A bottle of house wine is £14.95 and a pint of lager £3.50 and bitter £3.30.

It is a short 10-15 minutes walk away into Shifnal from the Hotel.
