I booked an afternoon tea for 20 people for my friends baby shower. I popped in the morning to drop some flowers and balloons off and was spoken to rudely by the owner as she was "busy" checking a wedding party out. When we arrived we were still obviously waiting for about 8 people when I was asked shall I...

Dear Miss Farrell Thank you for your valued comments regarding your recent visit to The Old Vicarage Hotel and restaurant. We are very sorry that you felt that we were rude on your arrival in the morning, it unfortunately coincided with a wedding party checking out of the hotel and until 11:00 they have exclusive use of the hotel, we...

This is our second stay at the Old Vicarage. We love the relaxed rural feel about the place. The rooms are comfortable and spacious, but getting a bit dated. The food is great and the staff are always friendly. Wi-fi needs updating and there is no wi-fi in the Coach house. Only got 1.8mb in the bar. This is only...

Family travelled from Harrogate, Bournemouth, France, Spain and many points in between to this lovely, friendly hotel. Rooms were wonderful. Staff fantastic and nothing was too much trouble. Food was really good and service slick. Kitchen was obviously well organised. A lovely and quiet venue, just the sound of birds and animals munching on the grass...true countryside. Thank you to...

We basically took over the hotel from Friday evening to Sunday morning family descending from all over from as far as Spain,France, Bournemouth, Liverpool, 27 of us in total. All of the staff were amazing our ages ranged from just four weeks to pensioners, but our demands were never too much! The evening waiting staff treated the kids like royalty...

Great hotel, lovely rooms, beautiful breakfast. Location is good for Bridgnorth, The Severn Valley Railway, David Austin Roses, R A F Cosford and the museum there. Even though they were looking after a wedding party the day we left we were well looked after. This is friendly, comfortable and good value

Room was booked via Booking.com and hotel was full so supect we were at bottom of the pecking order for room allocation - seeing pictures definitely better rooms. Tired decor - bathroom very dated - shaving light not working, no shower pressure and shower head clogged - effectively shower not usable. No complimentary water just a little milk for coffee...

I would 100% recommend this lovely place to anyone. The room we had had amazing views of the countryside and the biggest jacuzzi bath you ever saw! It was beautifully furnished and pristine, and had everything you could want, even for just one night stay. Our son got married here. The staff were wonderful. Every little detail was catered for....

I enjoyed a 1 night stay here. The staff are very friendly, the rooms very comfortable and clean. I can't comment on the food as I arrived late and the restaurant had closed. My only issues were there weren't any snacks (crisps, nuts) behind the bar to bye. The drinks are a little expensive and because I had an early...
