Stayed for one night late April 2015 (2 people + 2 cocker spaniels). A lovely welcome from Roland, a spacious double room, (modern en-suite), with upstairs lounge area, with T.V. Very warm and cozy. Lovely home cooked breakfast by Roland with plenty of tea and toast. Safe car parking and a large field for our furry friends to be excercised.... More

Everywhere is Immaculately clean, lots of room, really comfy bed, superb shower, lovely and warm which is nice to come home to in Feb. We had a lounge too which was a real bonus, &... More

We chose this b&b on the basis of reviews on tripadviser and because it was near Shapwick Common/Ham Wall. We were very impressed with it. For £60, our ensuite bedroom included a mezzanine sitting area as well. Admittedly, we didn't use the sitting area having spent the evening at the Retreat (recommended by the owner Roland). We had a full... More

What a wonderful experience, thanks to Roland and Thelma who run this lovely B&B. Roland is such a gentleman and provided us with advice and information on suitable restaurants and attractions in the area. Our room was very comfortable and there was plenty of space in the driveway to park the car. There are a number of nice pubs a... More
