This B & B had a good reputation and this has been well upheld and maintained by the current owners. The location and accommodation are excellent and the breakfasts and atmosphere are also perfect. The location of The Bridge Inn, and Tongdam Thai restaurant in Dulverton, Anchor Inn at Exebridge and other outlying restaurants at The Masons Arms, Knowstone, The...

Weekend break for us and this accommodation was in the town centre, so very convenient. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was outstanding with the emphasis on using local quality ingredients. The decor is a little dated but fits in with the charm of Dulverton.

We stayed here for 2 nights on the occasion of our 40th wedding anniversary as we were married in the church in 1976. Town Mills is tucked away towards the bottom of the town and is an absolute gem. We were allocated the top floor, Room 6, which comprised of a delightful bedroom with lovely space with sofas and a...

This was our second visit to Town Mills and I'm sure we'll return again. Lovely place, very friendly and helpful hosts and a delicious breakfast. And let's not forget the latest addition, Rufus the spaniel puppy

I had originally booked three days in Bamford that was cancelled at short notice and could not find any alternative in the town so my wife and I decided to try Dulverton. We have no regrets. I contacted Charles, the proprietor of Town Mills and there was availability for three days in their suite. The suite is on the ground...

I travel a lot by myself with work and occasionally you come across a hidden gem to stay. A warm welcome from the hosts who even took the time to make sure I was sorted for dinner and even booked it for me. The room was homely, spotless and had all those little extras that have been thought through -...

Town Mills is very well located in the very pretty small town of Dulverton. It's centrally situated with private parking and the excellent pub, shops and restaurants are no more than a few minutes walk away. In spite of it's central location it's extremely quiet. Our room was large and very comfortable and overlooked the garden. There had been a...

We loved our stay at Town Mills. The owners couldn't be more friendly and helpful. We especially appreciated the phone call before we left home to warn us of road closures that might affect us. What customer service! Thankyou. The stay was perfect. We loved the room, the complimentary white port ;-) and the lovely breakfast. Great location. Only wish...

Dulverton is a lovely place to visit. It's a small town in Somerset with a thriving High Street offering a butcher, a baker, a deli, a greengrocer and a variety of other individual shops with character as well as a well-stocked Co-Op that never seems to close. There are several good pubs and places to get something to eat and...

What with Christmas and the shooting season to go through we have only just had time to get back to you but wanted to say how lovely it was to meet you and how pleased I am not to be a "some pokey little dive run by a landlady with a face like thunder"! Six o'clock in the morning and...

This the second time we have stayed with Charles and Allison and we enjoyed our stay as much as the first time. Perhaps even more. Nothing was too much trouble and they took fantastic care of us. It was a special anniversary for us and the champagne waiting for us in our room was a wonderful surprise. We would hesitate...
