Eaten in restaurant and as a take out, both are wonderful! Love the setting, ambience, welcome, and the best Thai food ever. We are so lucky to have this wonderful restaurant in our town. They do more than serve your meal, without being self pretentious or self glorifying!! Thankyou for a great evening x

This restaurant is always good and worth a journey to spend an evening there. The menu has plenty of choice - meat, fish and vegetarian, the portions are a good size. As I was with my mother we shared our rice and side dish and found it ample alongside our individual main meat choice. The drink selection was also good...

I love Thai food and Tongdam had been recommended by others. Before I booked a table I had done my usual 'check it out' on tripadv and found the feedback very positive........although some customers were finding...

We had a great meal, small intimate restaurant, attentive staff and the food was really enjoyable. If your in town, this place is certainly worth a visit. A little on the pricy side, but you get a quality evening and will remember your visit. We loved it and will return again.

We were on holiday and found Tongdam completely by chance. It was slightly surprising to find a little thai restaurant in a North Devon village. We were given a very warm welcome and service was friendly and attentive throughout. Excellent food too .. a real little gem in an unexpected spot.

We had a lovely meal here for my sisters birthday. They decorated the table and gave her a card, a lovely touch. The food itself was amazing, I had chicken with a satay sauce to start and had a prawn stir fry for main. The prawn pad thai was delicious. The only thing (according to mum) that could have been...

A mothers and daughters evening out. A good choice of venue. We had a lovely meal a here. Plenty of choice. The staff were very good putting up with all our indecisions.Food was good. Atmosphere was good. It's not an overly big dinning area but you don't feel cramped at all. Relaxed dinning. Made very welcome. Would definitely recommend it.
