Fantastic weekend break, great location and facilities. We shared our weekend with our teenage daughters (17 & 19) and their boyfriends. It was a lovely place to relax and there was plenty to do. The accommodation was great with excellent facilities.

This is the third year in a row we have stayed at Moorleaze for Christmas and New Year as a family of four with our two children aged 5 and 3. Our kids love coming here and to them it's a home from home. The accommodation is excellent - clean, tastefully decorated, cosy, and homely. The setting is beautiful. Everything...

Dear guest - very many thanks for your lovely review. Gill and I were delighted that you and your family enjoyed another Christmas and New Year holiday here at Moorleaze, and hope to see you again next Christmas. Judging by the activity from BT's contractors it looks like we will soon get fibre-optic broadband (and about time too)! Thanks again.

We stayed at Moorleaze, which is very child friendly with our two and a half year Grandson who loved it. The accommodation is lovely. It is spacious and extremely comfortable. The kitchen was the best equipped of any self catering accommodation we have stayed at. The cottage, swimming pool and nice playroom were all very clean. We stayed in November...

Thank you for your lovely review. We are pleased that you enjoyed your time here, and Finn seemed very happy to see the hare so close to your cottage! We look forward to seeing you again.

My new wife, and our son and I spent 5 days at Moorleaze Farm, quite frankly amazing!!! Friendly, cottages are fab, and a warm indoor heated pool, 5 metres from your front door, will definitely be returning, well off the beaten track, but well worth a visit!!

We rented two cottages as a three generation family-grandparents, parents and 20 month old granddaughter-and were delighted with our break. Fully fitted kitchens-dishwasher, oven/grill, microwave, washing machine, fridge/freezer etc. High quality spec for the cottages-LED lights, RCD fusebox, spotlessly clean bathrooms, digital TV/dvd, cotton sheets and duvets. Wifi is fine and fibre will come when BT gets round to it....

AMAZING cottages!!! We booked last minute to extend our trip to Longleat. Everything about Moorleaze was wow. It was so clean, the accommodation was home from home, we couldn't have asked for anymore. Ian & Gill even put a pint of milk in the fridge for when we arrived ☺ The grounds were well kept. The swimming pool was lovely,...

Many thanks for your very kind review - we are delighted that you enjoyed your stay here, and that you loved both Moorleaze and the surrounding area. We agree with your comments about Frome, and autumn is a great time to see the colours in the trees at Stourhead, particularly with their reflections in the lake. Frosty mornings are also...

Just stayed at Moorleaze with several other members of my family for a family wedding. The location and facilities on site are really lovely, the pool makes a great addition and great for an early morning dip! I would suggest that some better signage is added however as making a bridal car reverse off the site left a bit of...

Thank you for your five star review. We do indeed try to avoid having cars drive through the gravel courtyard in front of the cottages as there are often children playing there. The safety of these guests is important to us. Rather than have large signs, outdoor tables and chairs are arranged so that guests can get very close to...

Stayed in one of small complex of cottages. Absolutely brilliant. Big yet cosy and very comfortable. Swimming pool on complex which we mostly had to ourselves. Made friends with a young hare who visited us every morning. Would recommend to anyone but you will need a car as in remote area. Perfect !

Thank you for your brilliant review! There have been loads of hares this year, including some new-borns in the courtyard, and we love to see them too. Good news on the public transport though - there is a trial to run one bus per week from Witham Friary to nearby Frome and back... I guess guests probably do need their...

We stayed for a week in Mendip Cottage with our two sons, aged 16 and 13. There was plenty for us all to do, with the pool, the games room, the tennis court and the beautiful grounds. Our cottage had two en suite bathrooms and huge amounts of space downstairs with a well equipped kitchen, large table and very comfy...

Thank you very much for such a kind review - we are delighted that you had an enjoyable holiday here at Moorleaze. As you note we are waiting for BT to finally connect us to the super-fast cables that have been laid, but hopefully the wait is nearly over!

A group of old friends stayed for the weekend in Stourhead Barn. Great accommodation for 9 of us, the open plan ground floor meant that there was plenty of room to sit, cook, eat and watch the Euros. The bedrooms were nicely decorated and we appreciated the towels. The weather on our weekend was a bit mixed but this is...
