I was not staying in the accommodation offered at the Five Dials, however, I met up with friends for a lunchtime meal. This is the local pub/restaurant for one set of friends, so it was well-known by them. We were all happy with our lunch choices. I especially enjoyed the freshly caught whole plaice.

Lovely couple run this place and work hard to make your stay pleasurable. Evening meal tasty, well cooked and served with a smile. Wine list good too! Rooms are clean bright and airy but would have liked a larger bed considering the space in the room. We would definantly recommend this and will stay again if ever we need a...

Phoned Wednesday to book a table for a meal for 2. Arrived Saturday, table not set and a three quarter hour wait for our food. Small portions of OK fish and little portions of veggies served directly on plate were served. Wanted to leave quickly as noise levels required shouting any type of conversation. Decided to stay for desert. After...

My wife and I stayed 2 nights over the Bank Holiday weekend, on our arrival, made very welcome, the room was nice, and had all you needed for the stay. The bar was always busy, and full of laughter, always a good sign, the cider was chilled to perfection!! On Sunday, as the day was a wash out, decided to...

The Five Dials Inn was an absolute delight, set in beautiful surroundings in the heart of Somerset, it provides the ideal accommodation for exploring the many places of interest this part of the world has to offer. The Inn and the owners were warm and welcoming and the inn and our room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. Attention to detail...

Nice country style surroundings with a beautiful garden. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Reasonable menu choices and the food was good . They have fresh fish every day. Locally sourced food is very important on the menu.

Stayed here one night enroute to Cornwall. Clean room, excellent welcome from locals and meals that could not be better. Would definitely stay again. Just wish it was near motorway, had trouble finding it, but well worth the hunt.
