My recent visit to The Cottage was one of the best holiday that I have had. My room (Nº 3) had a huge bed with an on-suite bathroom and also a sitting area with a sofa to enjoy my morning coffee. I would not hesitate to recommend this B & B not only for the cleanliness but also for the...

We greatly recommend this B & B! We received a warm welcome by Claire and Chris. Our room was nice, full of character very clean and quiet, with en suite bathroom. There was also a sitting room for the guests. We had a nice dinner in the local pub, nearby. Chris or Claire will advise you, and even make a...

We stayed at the Cottage as part of our walking holiday and of all the places we stayed it was easily the best and the cheapest as it happens. Beautiful food in an elegant dining room in the morning and a spotlessly clean and comfortable bedroom up to date and contemporary yet in an old historic building. At least 5...

We were really pleased we chose The Cottage for our 2 night stay in Porlock. Clare cooks a wonderful breakfast with plenty of choice on offer. The room was very comfortable with plenty of hot water and adjustable heating. There was loads of tourist information available for those new to the area and both Chris and Clare were helpful with...

I don't normally use B&Bs but the reviews were so good I thought we'd give it a try We were not disappointed, everything was excellent. The private parking is a real plus and makes the visit so much easier. Once inside the rooms are very clean and well equipped and there is ample information on the area and where to...

Chris and Clare gave us a great welcome. There is easy parking and the room was very comfortable with en suite facilities. The breakfasts were amazing and the village is very picturesque with some great places nearby to eat in the evening. We especially enjoyed the Top Ship for evening meals. We will certainly book again as our stay was...

Having stayed this time last year my colleague and I was visiting The West Somerset Railway and booked to stay with Chris and Clare again as we find them both helpful, friendly and attentive. Once again our room 5 was spotlessly clean and all the requirements we needed (great reception for Wi-Fi) and good nights sleep. Their usual breakfast was...

The cottage is very easy to find. Chris and Claire are very welcoming and the room was perfect - nice size, very comfy bed, lovely little wooden window seat and great en suite shower with lovely soaps, shampoo and conditioner. Breakfast was delicious I can't fault it and hope to go back one day. Thank you!
