Highly recommended as a short stay venue with lovely grounds to explore. This was our second visit and it probably surpassed our first stay. Our dog absolutely loves it here. Many of the staff are very new to the hotel but this wasn't an issue as the staff were both attentive as needed and very affable. The Ludlow room is...

We have stayed here on many occasions in the past few years but our visit pre Christmas 2016 was seriously lacking and we sadly decided never to visit again! We experienced poor service, poor food, and lack of attention in all aspects of our stay. BUT--we were so saddened by our decision that we decided to give Ston Easton one...

This was a weekend fit for a king and a queen! We thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our stay as this place is picture perfect and it has a unique character! We stayed in The Plunge room and had 2 separate rooms: a lounge and a bedroom. All the decor preserves the antique feel of this country luxury hotel. It...

Although this is a very grand hotel it is also quite informal and both relaxed and relaxing. The bedroom we had was extremely comfortable, with high quality bedding, and the bathroom was luxurious. The grounds and gardens are large with scope for brisk walks. The food in the restaurant was extremely competent, if not absolutely "fine dining". Ingredients were first...

Ston Easton is a delicious country house in lovely Somerset and quite frankly one of the nicest hotels and restaurants in the U.K. Stunning yet friendly and unpretentious, stylish to a fault and one of the best chefs in Wessex. The house staff are lovely and John is a most delightful host. This really is a hidden gem and the...

Made a reservation for Sunday Lunch 26th Feb, to celebrate a 50th birthday. This was my 3rd visit to Ston Easton Park and although I would rate each visit 5 out of 5, each one always surpasses the last. Our visit last Sunday did just than, from the moment we arrived we were greeted by the friendly head of staff,...

An elegant country house hotel to which we were warmly welcomed. The public rooms are very comfortable and had their original features. Our spacious room was comfortably furnished in period style. Our creature comforts were met with excellent linen, fluffy towels, a power shower and efficient heating. The gardens, even on a wet and windy day are beautiful and demand...

As we have just moved into the area we decided to attend the Ston Easton Park New Years Eve party. It was a black tie event and had a maximum of 20 people who attended the event. It was a beautiful event with exquisite food. The evening also included a casino event, this was slightly disappointing because of its size...

We went to Ston Easton for a couple of nights to celebrate Valentine's Day. By the time we decided to book (about 5 weeks out) all the better rooms had gone, so we booked into a "Classic" room. Given the way in which this hotel promotes itself, a Classic (aka "Standard") room ought to be fine. Ours was on the...

We stayed one night at this wonderful country hotel. The public areas are elegant but homely. The room, the Reston was large and comfortable. Excellent nights sleep with good quality bed linen. We took our dog, a first for us and we were made to feel very welcome. The staff were excellent with customer service a priority. We will come...
