We were five people and for a birthday celebration. This is a beautiful house gardens and we had a lovely welcome. Service was excellent throughout, friendly and attentive. We all chose the five course tasting menu which was excellent value and we all enjoyed the selection. Loved the dining room! Highly recommended.

We loved this place. We needed a place for a one night stay near Bath, and this was our perfect choice. We had a classic room which was excellent. I'm sure there are much grander and larger rooms, but this suited all our needs. A lovely 'new' marble bathroom, a 7ft. King size bed and all the amenities to could...

We booked to have afternoon tea in the library for grandparents birthday. I have to say the service was exceptional, very attentive staff and beautiful room ready on arrival. The afternoon tea was lovely and the experience was enjoyed by all in the party.

We had heard great things about the food at ston Easton. We went for the tasting menu and every dish was pretty awful. Pickled Mackerel, pickled tomato, pickled veg, and pickled tomato jelly. It was really acidic and by far the worst dish. Every course after that was also disappointing. Average food. The bread served was all over proved and...

My partner and I were give an expensive voucher for what was described as a gourmet tea. Sadly it did not meet with our expectations,as for £29.50 per person plus a 10% service charge, it was quite simply very poor. The Hotel itself looked very tired, and had I booked this myself i would have felt ripped off. I sadly can't...

A stunning house in fantastic surroundings for walking or sitting taking in the views....dogs are welcome throughout the house, with exception of the restaurant, and if you want one to walk you can take Oscar, the resident spaniel! You are free to wander around the house.....feels like you are lady of the manor!, the sofas engulf you and the service...

Hotel is fantastic, staff are generally friendly. Reception is very helpful. Room was excellent and dinner was good, not brilliant but good. Unfortunately, as per previous reviews, breakfast was unbelievable bad. We sat ourselves at a table as we were ignored on arrival in the restaurant and sat there for another 15mins before we were offered a coffee. The 'continental'...

This hotel is like no other I have ever stayed at. It has not been altered , it seems, since it was a grand family home and staying here feels like you are stepping back in time and experiencing life as you would if you lived here long ago. The staff are so welcoming and our whole family loved the...

I have given this one star but if the opportunity arose I would give it a minus. The service was diabolical - almost thirty minutes to provide a pot of tea. We were also charged for drinks we didn't have, although when this was discovered, I was given a refund. But £28.00 for two pots of tea? When I complained...
