We popped in after walking down and taking the bus back up to and from the Snowdrop Valley. They didn't feel open until we opened the door, which might be why it was quiet on a busy walking day. Excellent tea, and lots of it, great home made soup and bread, and even handled a wheat free diet. Kudos. I'd...

We arrived at Exmoor House drenched and muddy from a long, wet day's walk on the Coleridge Way. Rosi (the co-owner with her husband Frank) jumped into action and got our drying-out process underway, then showed us to the lovely sitting area with its fine selection of ales and other libations. Rosi and Frank couldn't have been better hosts, attentive...

40th anniversary stay was great. Great food. Great venue. Great owners.quite and clean without TV or phone just great. Peace and quite away from my normal membership of the rat race. Reasonably priced and just the right amount of interaction with our hosts in a word brilliant.

On arrival greeted with a very warm welcome by landlords who were very friendly and professional through the stay. The place was clean and tidy, although seemed dated and dark. In need of modernising and brightening up somewhat. The room was comfortable ,except the shower did not work so had to have baths, a bit disappointing. The breakfast was OK...

We very much enjoyed the place: nice room, very nice hosts, close to villagecenter en restaurants. Nice garden, free Wifi and parking. Perfect place to explore Exmore coast and nationalpark. Famous Dunster Castle is only a few miles away.

Our accommodation was at Exmoor House; an extremely walker friendly guest house. There was a wonderful reading room with hundreds of books on the local area, walks, and history. They even had cards and a variety of games - to unwind after the gig reclining on a comfortable sofa and drinking wine was a wonderful end the evening. Whilst we...

We spent 4 nights at Exmoor house on a half board basis. Our double room was ensuite with bath and was spacious and very comfortable. Tea tray with fresh milk and tea and coffee bags. Rosi and Frank were excellent hosts. The open fire was lit in the guest lounge when it was chilly. There was an 'honesty book' for...

We visited for a lunch after treking through the valley to see the snow drops. Exmoor House operates a 'pop up' tea room during this period. As such, it is a little 'haphazard' but maintained its charm with it. Examples of the slightly haphazard experience: -People being asked to take their shoes off outside in the street and come in...

We stayed here to visit the snowdrops over the valentines weekend. It's situated in the middle of wheddon cross on the roadside but even though our room was on the front we didn't notice any noise in the night. The food was excellent - all home made by Frank in the kitchen from locally sourced ingredients. As other reviewers have...

We stayed for three nights on a dinner bed and breakfast basis. Wheddon Cross is ideally placed to access all that Exmoor has to offer and, although the guest house was right on the cross roads, we did not notice any road noise at night. There was plenty of parking and we were warmly welcomed by Rosi and Frank (the...
