Do not stay here! The location is the only redeeming quality. Our room was beyond dated! It was disgusting and dropping to bits. Holes in the wall, cracks in the door and bed post, broken hair dryer and dirty hand prints on the wall. Staff were unhelpful and unapproachable. Asked for more towels as the turn down service failed to leave any, and the man dropping them off looked at me like I was dirt on his shoe. I get budget and no frills. But you shouldn't be charging people for the rooms in the state they're in! Never again

Me and my girlfriend stayed here while attending an event at Burton Town Hall, and this hotel does the job for a quick stay for a night out. Our room was pleasant except for a couple of fixtures and fittings being loose (namely shelves) and also the light in the bathroom was on a movement sensor so it occasionally would go off while we were showering. Plenty of parking was available and the WiFi was good, a kettle, microwave oven and fridge is available in the room although a few more tea and coffee supplies would have been better. Only downside is that despite advertising it here on TripAdvisor the hotel does not offer breakfast, although thankfully we were able to find a very good café (Café Malt) just a short drive away. The hotel also does not have a lift, due to being housed in an old industrial building. If you're looking for luxury then look elsewhere, but for a basic room to sleep in for a night out it works.

Where do I start? Well let’s start with the concierge. Or manager. Or whatever he is. Rude, ignorant and surly. There was no internet on the wifi, when I enquired about this he replied he was stressed and there was nothing he could do. Any rebate on the room I asked, he laughed at me. And then after the first night night he asked my wife to check out even though we were staying for two as she walked out our car. No perception of who is in the hotel and for how long. Next the room. Tired, no let’s say very tired. And cleanliness? OMG, so nice to go into the bathroom and see someone else’s skid marks on the toilet. So obviously hadn’t been cleaned. And I got a bite on my ankle from god knows what insect. Windows opened onto a roof and the bed was knackered with lumpy springs. Now let’s review the facilities. None, apart from a car park. Yes there was some milk/tea/coffee in the room but that’s it. No bar, no breakfast or restaurant. Why? But there are vending machines for drink between 8am and 11pm! Which brings us th the final part. The hotel is used to house the homeless, refugees, and the flotsam & jetsam of life. There are all sorts of unsavoury sorts hanging around outside the entrance. Some rooms have a microwave in them, it tells you all you need to know. This is not a hotel for the casual traveler. We went to a cafe the next morning close by and mentioned we were in the Three Queens and they were horrified. Apparently it used to be a nice hotel years ago, now it’s gone the rack and ruin with all sorts riff-raff hanging about or actually staying there. When we arrived there was also a bucket collecting water in the stairwell, the whole hotel looks like it’s on its last legs. I have no axe to grind, I tell it as I see it. If you stay here after reading this review you do so at your own risk. The hotel should be closed and bulldozed or bought up by a reputable chain and completely gutted and revamped.

When we first pulled up to hotel we thought “oh my god” but once we got to the room it wasn’t too bad. The toilet didn’t flush properly and the shower had no power but the room was cosy and we had a good couple of days in there. All the staff were friendly and polite, it just needs a refurb especially when you first walk in. Plenty of places to go for food near by!

Massively needs a refurb . Maybe even knock down and start again. The idea is good the staff are friendly but it’s like flogging a dead horse nothing you can do really makes it a good stay rooms are so out of date

The staff were really lovely. Comfortable bed but the room we stayed in is in need of refurbishment. The wall had a stain, bath tub and lavatory seat both had lots of chips off the finish, exposing black marks. Pleasant stay though.

We stayed for the night before going to drayton manor and I must say pulling into the cat park to see a 'no smoking marijuana' sign at the side of reception was an interesting first impression lol. Checking was really easy, we were in the lodge section and had booked 2 rooms which happened to be on different floors (not ideal with kids), no oift either and we were on the 2nd floor. Rooms are very tired and dated (massive iron burns on our catpet), no bath but clean and huge rooms to be fair. Free WiFi in the rooms, we had a microwave and fridge as well. We were right on the side of the building looking onto a busy road junction, didn't need an alarm to get up early as traffic woke us up. For 60 a night it's fine if you just want to get your head down like we did

A one night stay was very disappointing. Even though overall, my room was nice, the faults discovered in the bathroom, is what spoiled my stay. Most importantly the shower temperature could NOT be regulated. It was constantly boiling hot and could not be rectified even when a member of staff attempted to fix it. The hot/cold filter on the basin tap was also faulty and one of the toilet seat hinges was broken. When I telephoned and emailed my complaint, the reply was unbelievable. Their statement said " most of the problems were caused by inappropriate use of our facilities. We cannot accept any responsibility for the same. " Well if they cannot accept responsibility, who can ? Be very careful when staying at this hotel, because if you find any faults, the blame will be on you. A very dissatisfied guest !

We arrived and felt like it was a half way house. There was snob locks on the door, the carpets were stained all up and down the stairs, the whole place smelled and nothing was clean. I wouldn’t stay here for free. We got a refund and left as soon as possible. It felt so unsafe
