A converted Grain store the hotel has lots of character from the outside and inside has been transformed to make for a very pleasant stay. A good location with shops and bars a short distance away. The hotel is quiet.Parking is easy and cheap £3 a day. The railway station is just round the corner.

Very good value and spotlessly clean. Staff were friendly, genuine and efficient. It's a very central location and unlike some Travelodges which quickly deteriorate after opening this one is well maintained. Car park is very reasonable at £3 for 24 hours

A perfect place to unwind with top quality rooms / accomodation and super quality beds for that perfect nights sleep.Breakfast was buffet style but had everything you needed and the hot food was cooked fresh. We will be staying at this hotel on our next visit to Burton on Trent without doubt.

All in all, you pretty much know what you're getting with a Travelodge hotel. If staying here, make sure you're not on the railway side of the hotel as trains run past midnight. Bed was comfy, but pillows were too hard (personal opinion). Room had a musty smell when first entered. They've recently upgraded their TV channel selection for the...

Fantastic building, an old grain warehouse, in a great location, very central, we came to explore, planned to visit Tutbury castle for the fireworks, Sudbury house & the National Arboretum, so an easy drive to all. The staff we met were brilliant. I'm really impressed by them all, especially Abid who checked us in. He was so welcoming and genuine,...

We arrived without any prior knowledge of knowing the car park had a ticket meter installed. The room was smelly but clean bedding and towels were good. Limited staff which led to waiting times in being served at bar etc . Staff were pleasant and helpful

On this occasion lots of noise, poor maintenance, and food could have been better. Noisy neighbours, tap not secure to basin, shower dripping, odour coming from WC, TV constantly on subtitle and audio subtitle I manage to switch the written subtitle off each time I switched the TV on but turning the audible ones off beat me and I do...

An Interesting hotel, a former grain warehouse for the Midland Railway, many original features remain. Well located in town centre, next to station. A comfortable and quiet stay. Recommend this hotel!

Not the normal modern building associated with Travelodge. It was an old converted victorian brick warehouse. In a run down area. Thw room and bed were clean and comfortable so OK if you dont mind the view.
