Mid-walk a couple of Saturdays ago we bundled in to the Unicorn for refreshment. Have to be perfectly honest, the place was great, Gavin made us feel extremely welcome and his family and the walk never really proceeded from the Unicorn! Had a great time, lovely place.

Very friendly staff who looked after us on our 625 mile run round the country! Comfy room and great breakfast. Lent us cutlery to eat our takeaway curry outside in the beer garden. Would definitely recommend - very welcoming atmosphere.

Basic accommodation with comfy beds, good sized room and shower room. Very friendly and accommodating serving good b'fast of selection of fruit, yoghurt, cereal & toast - didn't want anything cooked. Would visit again. Some interesting places to visit around.

Very quiet pub, usually just the locals in but a nice little place to stop by and eat or drink, they offer locally sourced home cooked food, a lovely little garden with a couple of goats and chickens.....very friendly atmosphere and the staff are very welcoming

Gavin was a real gentleman, I had to clock in at an awkward time and he was up ready to welcome me with a smile and room key, just what I needed at the end of a long shift. Thank you Gavin, you were a life saver.

We stayed at the Unicorn inn on the nights of 18th and 19th May. The room was ample in size, for the two of us and our dog. The bedding crisp and clean, bed was amazingly comfortable and the on suite spacious, with a lovely Miracle shower, it did however take a litter while to work out how to get...

We first drank and ate at this charming little pub some 7 years ago when in my opinion the pub was at its best. Having called in today for a drink and an early evening dinner I am so pleased to see that finally after several changes of management over the preceding years the pub is finally back to its...
