Definitely not at the typical standard of travelodge - stayed at many others which were cheaper and 100 times cleaner Booked a family room for 2 adults 2 children - there was a double bed and one single - luckily the children did not travel with us

For how cheap the stay was, I was kinda surprised. The room was clean, everything worked and was as it was supposed to be and the staff on the front desk were lovely. Sure, it’s not the Ritz, but for like £30-£40 a night it’s good value

Fully recommended. Stayed for 1 night (11 March 2023) with my wife and my 2 children, 13 and 16. We were warmly welcome by the staff. We must say the room are up to date, clean, comfortable and yet with bath tub. We will stay again for sure.

Good size clean room at the front of the building. Laura and the team were absolutely lovely and kind, especially as this was not a pleasure trip. The hotel is well located across the road from the local high street, so convenient for food and anything else you might need. The was also a Subway and petrol station in front of the hotel.

Pleasant rooms good staff and a handy location, what more could you wish for. Unfortunately there was quite a bit of noise from the road outside. Provides exactly what it advertisers I'd definitely stay there again.

Stayed in the Rugeley travelodge last night with my two young children and had such a pleasant stay. This was a last minute booking due to moving house and the staff were wonderful. Got there late last night and staff helped get me bedding and travel cots for the kids and helped me with putting these together as the kids were so tired. Nothing was too much bother. The bed was lovely and comfty. The room was nice and toasty. Kids slept great. Nice and peaceful hotel. Breakfast to go boxes were brilliant this morning for the kids before nursery in our rush. Kids enjoyed a bath and the room was a great size. Thank you for a lovely stay and for being so helpful I really did appreciate it after a stressful weekend.

As a local, I never thought I'd find cause to stay here, but that need came about, so I did. I stayed for 3 nights, Wed-Sun and the pricing was fair for this stay. The room was great, well-presented and had a view to the park and pond at the back of it which was a nice touch. The room came with everything you would expect such as a TV with Freeview, tea / coffee making facilities, and the shower was one of the most powerful and warm showers I've had the pleasure of using in any hotel! Girls on reception were friendly and welcoming, and I would be happy to stay in a Travelodge elsewhere based on my experience here.
