Basic, Clean and presentable. The Staff were great and breakfast good. You get everything for a great price and they don't mind dogs with a large foyer to dry the dogs when coming in from outside. Keep up the good work.

What a great stay. They were friendly and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble for them. They were very very dog friendly and very kind to my Henry. I would absolutely recommend them and already have. Thank you again would definitely go back again.

Only about 15mins from Alton Towers so perfect for a one night stopover before visiting the park. Very friendly staff, free parking, supermarket next door and pub easy walk away. Full breakfast included. It is an older hotel and we were up two flights in a room with a cute sloping room and a tiny old bathroom so not the hotel for you if you like super modern and need an elevator but we really enjoyed it.

Had a great stay here on a trip to Alton Towers. Arrived by train at Uttoxeter and the hotel is just a few minutes walk away. Also the bus that takes you to Alton Towers in the morning is also very close. The room was great comfortable and clean with a nice bathroom. Was very quiet and had a great night's sleep. Breakfast was good with a lot of choice. You choose what you would like and at what time the night before and was exactly as requested and on time. Check-in was quick and easy and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Also I could leave my bag after check out when I went to Towers which was much appreciated. All in all a great stay and I'll stay here again next time I visit Towers.

Great B&B. The staff were very welcoming and helpful, it was in a great location also, 10 mins walk to the racecourse and town was right on ours doorstep. The breakfast was lovely and beds comfortable. They also have their own carpark. I would have no doubt in booking this B&B again.

We had a brilliant time here, the Lodge was great, it was lovely and snug for me and friends to stay in over the weekend, breakfast was fabulous and the staff were great - check out their dvds for rent as they have a big selection, which you can use in your room for free. Lodge was well heated and the beds were very comfy. Also well situated to the town where there’s lots of dinner options too (and opposite several supermarkets). Would love to come and stay again :)

I had a great stay, only one night after sailing at nearby Blithfield Sailing Club all day. I had to check in late as late at event, great arrangement to check in without seeing anyone, followed by a very comfortable be and sleep. Topped off with an excellent full English breakfast before returning to Blithfield for another days' sailing. Thank you all for a great stay.

I have mixed reviews about my stay, Upon arrival, (with great parking spaces may I add) we were greeted by a very warming person, she welcomed us straight in and gave us all of the information we needed regarding our stay, and I’m very grateful to that. She showed us to our rooms and unfortunately had a lot of trouble getting into the door, Banging and banging to try and let us into the room, going downstairs to change the key, it was an absolute palaver, especially as we had travelled 5 hours, all we wanted ideally was to have a shower and to relax for a bit. When entering the room, it was very homely and I absolutely loved the decor!! (the map work is incredible and an absolutely genius idea for decor) The beds were super comfy, even though I messed up and booked twin rooms (my partners face was a picture haha), and the facilities were fantastic, Tv with Netflix, coffee/tea and milk station, a fan, clothes hangers and even shampoo and shower gels, which for the price of your stay, is incredibly generous (my opinion) so Thankyou for that! However, when entering the bathroom, as soon as you turn on the light, the most horrendous, loud noise blaring from the wall mounted bathroom fan, meaning we could not have the light on at all during our stay, for me that was very annoying for night bathroom trips. The fan was extremely dirty aswell, very dusty. I am not exaggerating when I say, when we turned on the light, black dust/dirt came down from the fan on to the toilet roll which was placed directly underneath, not ideal. The shower looks very nice and it is very spacious, unfortunately the bathroom ceiling was covered in mould, and the draining wasn’t great, the water kept backing up on the shower floor, I had non stop issues with the shower and hot water, it was honestly more hassle than worth. I did not sleep great at this place, my anxiety was on edge as the door does not close properly (picture taken), and I was so worried I would be locked in as we had so many issues with getting in and out of the door, The walls are very thin and you can hear everything, we had an eventful evening listening to a man moaning about the wifi(which was not working but that isn’t the end of the world for me personally) The breakfast wasn’t really a “wow” factor for me, I ordered an egg sandwich and for my personal taste the egg wasn’t cooked well, it was very snotty, but my partner thoroughly enjoyed his breakfast, and the fresh supply of juices, I loved the table to door number idea, I thought that was fantastic, Thankyou for being so friendly and helpful, and especially for your great selection of facilities, but for me, I would not stay again, but that’s just my personal choice :)

We stayed 2 nights in the family bungalow - a wooden lodge in the car park that can sleep up to 6 people. If you have a fear of spiders this is not the room for you - luckily my dad was there to get rid of them! The lodge could have been cleaner - lots of cobwebs around and dusty areas. Room had been advertised as having a fridge but there wasn't one - this would have been helpful in the warmer weather. The room was cold in the morning but once turned on the heaters worked quickly. They were accommodating for a late check in. Keys are left at the reception desk with instructions on getting to your room. You select breakfast options on a sheet and then place it into a box for the morning. Breakfast on our first morning let them down. The young girl serving was not helpful and not in a good mood. As we hadn't seen anyone at check in we didn't know what the process was. We sat down at the only available table which hadn't been wiped down. We weren't offered drinks and had to ask for tea. We had veggie options and these were okay. The second day the owner was in at breakfast and it as a lovely experience!! He was very friendly and helpful! Shame the first day wasn't like this.

Such a lovely place for my family to stay after a day at Alton towers. Amazing aircon; very clean lodge & great hosts. We all had a brilliant comfortable sleep ready for another busy day: the breakfast was such a smooth run and was really tasty! Thanks all so much, see you in a couple of years :)
