Outstanding historic 1830's? B&B with a fine dining experience and an ultra-friendly & accomodating staff. We went with friends for a Saturday lunch. We were welcomed to tour the entire facility as there were no guests that day. Just a beautiful old, unique building. Lunch menu was @ $15 plate. Outstanding selection was very elegantly presented. The chicken and butternut...

As always the food and service were excellent. I always enjoy coming here for special occasions. The scallops were the best I have had in a long time. Highly recommended to anyone looking to have a nice dinner with plenty of atmosphere. Never rushed and always excellent

i came with a group for a lunch and tour of the inn. The food was good and reasonably priced- until dessert. Our server reeled off the list of options but no price was mentioned. I was startled to see on my bill that the pie was priced at $7. It was just ok, not really what I expected from...

My husband and I as well as two other couples rented the home on the property! When we arrived there was a cheese plate and a bottle of champaign on the table waiting for us. The house is beautiful and the wood burning fireplace is heavenly!

My husband and I were gifted an overnight stay at the Spread Eagle. When we arrived, the original room we booked had a broken A/C, but the front desk staff quickly fixed the problem with a new room. The building is set in historical Hanoverton and filled with history. The Good: As stated above, the staff was very quick to...

My first time dining at the Spread Eagle Tavern did not disappoint. The staff was professional and accommodating, the historic ambiance embraces you from the moment you step in the door, the food was superb. Several separate rooms, hand-hewed beams, large fireplaces complete the colonial charm and makes it an entire dining experience. We enjoyed drinks in the parlor, excellent...

We traveled to Hanoverton and spent a night in the Lincoln Suite. The hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. The suite is very cozy and includes a large bathroom with copper accessories, a claw foot tub with old fashioned shower ring. Dinner in the restaurant was outstanding and very romantic close to one of their many operating fireplaces. The...

We love "the Tavern" as many locals call it. We have reservations for Thanksgiving, as we do every year. The atmosphere is cozy yet you never feel cramped. The servers are all helpful and courteous and ever so efficient. The food is always great. The hardest decision is which luscious dessert to have!

We stayed overnight in the Lincoln room. Comfortable four poster bed, claw foot tub, home made cookies in our room. Dinner in the dining room was outstanding; the best meal I have had anywhere! We had a table in front of one of the fireplaces, very romantic. Our waitress made wonderful suggestions. We plan on going back for lunch sometime...

This is an excellent choice and well worth the drive to get there. Wonderful atmosphere, a lot of history and excellent food and service. Two fireplaces going when it cold out. Plymouth street has other historic buildings and houses, many occupied by home owners. Plan on spending some time there to look over all the photos, relics, furnishing, etc. on...
