A lovely Sunday lunch with family in the cloisters restaurant, excellent food, very well presented and impeccably served, a very nice choice of reasonably priced wines on offer to complement the meal, an ideal location for a special meal or for any excuse to spoil yourselves. Nutfield Priory comes highly recommended.

The day started off shaky when upon arrival we were told by the ladies on reception that Spa Seekers had failed to inform Nutfield Priory of our booking. The staff were accommodating and managed to book in our treatments that were part of our £145 cream tea spa day break which was purchased for my partner as a birthday gift..... More

Stayed here again; need I say more? I slept like a log, the room was clean, perfect temperature and the staff are great. Worth a wonder around the grounds or go for a spa. The food is good but as you'd expect the drinks are hotel prices. Great breakfast; seriously great.

A beautiful gothic building with extensive grounds set high on the Greensand Ridge overlooking the East Surrey landscape towards the south. Accomodation and food are absolutely fine but a little overpriced and just slightly above average when considering value for money in my opinion. We have stayed in several ancient historic hotels that were much less expensive. No major problems... More

Popped in as passing for a "sharing platter" that was £15 and consisted of 4 small pieces of toast, 3 tiny slices of Parma ham and 2 slices of small salami, when questioned if this was meant for two to share I was told yes, regardless sent it back and got a really nice sandwich in marks and Spencer's for... A very quaint hotel steeped in history, over looking the great Surrey hills. As soon as you arrive at the car park you are over shadowed with this vast Victorian grandeur and superb architectural beauty with the ubiquitous gargoyle heads and castes over hangs. The reception staff are extremely friendly and greeting, great room and great amenities, the spa is... More

This is a lovely place, beautiful rooms, good ambience and the tea was laid out in the lounge on fine china and starched linen. The service was excellent as were the sandwiches. The scones were not so delicious and the dainty pastries were dainty but cloyingly sweet, with no intensity of flavour. Overall a good but not great experience.

We cannot praise the Nutfield Priory enough, from the venue itself to every member of staff that we have ever had any dealings with in the last 15 months. We spent 2 nights in the Wordsworth Suite and it was absolutely beautiful. We spent Friday afternoon in the Spa including lunch and once the manager knew we were there getting... More

Spent a very relaxing weekend at Nutfield. Superb facilities and very helpful staff. Dinner was wonderful, I throughly recommend the Sussex beef. Also great to see a restaurant serving English sparkling wine. Nyetimber is up there with the best. No snobbery here! Finally a word for the staff, nothing was too much trouble and nice that they had time to... More

Snatching a one night break for some family quality time, from a hectic life and never ending workload, is not easy. I am delighted however to have stayed at The Nutfield Priory Hotel and to have had opportunity to step, for a few hours, into the tranquility and calm of all that it has to offer its guests. This was... More
