Came here for a Take That Tribute night. The boys were great but the 3 course meal was extremely poor. Tiny portions (child sized) of cheap food mass produced. I get that's it difficult to feed a large amount of people at the same time but the thought put into the dishes was zero! Also any wine or spirits were...

A three day conference stay at B&B rates. The conference room facilities were good but lighting level in the conference area was too poor to see the fine detail we all required. We were served Dinner on Friday and Saturday evening in the open area outside the conference room, which was well lit and airy, but the service of food...

We recently stayed for 2 nights and had an amazing stay. The room was incredibly comfortable; staff couldn't have been more friendly or helpful and the evening meal in the Oak Room was out of this world. It was incredibly busy with a number of events, but we still found the staff to be attentive and friendly. The hotel owners...

No doubt, this is a good hotel, friendly staff, clean rooms, well working wifi etc. Nevertheless, we had expected something different. The timber wood façade shown in the photographs is somewhat misleading, as this is only half of the story. A large number of rooms are actually located in a modern building, which has the feel of one of the...

We recently had a two night break at this hotel, it is a grand old building with some later additions, if one was being 'picky' you could go on and on with negative critisms about the overall condition of this hotel, but if you stay in this charming establishment with a bit of a look back into the past and...

On Saturday 29 April 2017, for the 3rd year running, 30+ of us really enjoyed a fantastic Golf Day at Nailcote. Lovely facilities and course was in excellent condition, although very challenging even for the best of Golfers! Finished the day off in the delightful clubhouse with a very welcoming meal and drinks. All the staff, especially David Playdon, organised...

Booked a table for 2 for 8 pm a couple of months ago, arrived at this beautiful property, well lit so you could appreciate even at night, short wait for or table to be ready, appeared busy for a Thursday night which is always a good sign! Food was absolutely amazing, I had the succulent pork fillet and my wife...

Ten days ago we have visited Nailcote Hall Hotel for dinner. It was my birthday 13th of April. Just want to give a huge THANKS to all staff! It was a beautiful evening. I came with my partner. The manager was very kind as well as other two girls. Food was delicious and very nice atmosphere. They poured our wine,...

Met with Rick today for a meeting, the coffee I was served was absolutely lovely. Great atmosphere, great hosts and a beautiful setting. Every time I visit I feel welcome and I am greeted by big smiles and a room full of happy customers.

I recently stayed here for a week long business trip. First impressions of the hotel are very good. It is a unique building that oozes character. I had room 4 in the main building and was pleasantly surprised how modern, comfortable and large the room was. Good wifi too. It was very clean and I was very happy with the...
