Had an excellent birthday dinner for 20 people in the Stone Aged restaurant. A number of us stayed in the hotel for our wedding the next day. The wedding reception in the Cygnets Bar was handled beautifully. The owners are staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. For example, one of our party had a breakfast request and the owner despatched...

A small family lunch was disrupted during the first course by my wife almost becoming unconscious as a result of her choking on a king prawn of all things. It wasn't the prawns fault or the chefs. My wife had a very similar occurrence some years ago that resulted in some surgery to remove a piece of steak. That surgery...

Nice room, friendly service, good atmosphere, great location - what more could you ask for!? Didn't get chance to try the evening food as it was fully booked. But breakfast was very good. Good to see a hotel/pub popular with visitors and locals alike.

Top marks for this hotel. We were up for the Spring Fair at the NEC, but couldn't get our usual hotel in Solihull . We received a friendly welcome in the buzzy bar, were shown to a beautiful , traditional room and enjoyed a very comfortable nights sleep. The hotel restaurant was excellent - possibly the best steak I've tasted,...

We had lunch in the bar on Boxing Day with our family and the bar food was tasty and quick considering the pub was busy with jolly locals enjoying the welcoming fire. The atmosphere here is warm and buzzy. We had the added enjoyment of the Morris Men dancing through Henley from pub to pub together with local dignitaries all...

After spending many Christmas Eve,s and New Years here we decided to go again this year. What a disappointment as despite their website saying bar until 1pm we were very rudely ushered out at 12.15 after the doors being locked and the barmaid telling us to leave so that they could enjoy their New Years Eve. At midnight there was...

Stayed here for one night to meet friends. Quite quirky with winding up and down stairs to get to our top floor room. Pleasantly surprised at the facilities and especially liked the double shower in the large bathroom. A little noisy when the bar was closing and musicians packing up but that was to be expected. Breakfast in the steak...

We have stayed at the White Swan Hotel on numerous occasions, whilst visiting friends in Henley. The rooms vary in size, but all are very clean and comfortable. The bathrooms are modern and clean. Rooms at the front of the hotel can be noisy, due to traffic on the High Street. The bar is usually very busy until late, but...
