We stayed three nights in this attractive old building which has all mod cons. Comfortable bed, clean room (in fact, clean throughout the place: we came across a nice lady mopping the floor each morning downstairs), reasonable wi-fi, good shower in reasonably spacious bathroom, good storage cupboard. Good provision of tea, coffee, etc. This hotel is so near to rating...

We stayed here on a Saturday night as part of a birthday celebration. We were madd to feel very welcome, the rooms were very clean. We couldn't get wifi in our room but that didn't really matter. Breakfast was fantastic. Would definitely return back.

Stayed here this weekend in order to visit Stratford-upon-Avon. We arrived at lunchtime and had a fantastic lunch - I had fish and chips and my partner had a steak ciabatta. The fish was the best I have had for a long time, beautifully cooked and a generous portion. My partner also enjoyed his meal, and said it was the...

What a hotel !. I stayed in a lovely 400 yr old room (with a modern bed of course) after some time in the awsome old bar. The owners are really nice and friendly as are the staff. The Tapas were good and large and very tasty, breakfast was just right too.

Thought I'd try out their Stoneaged steak place. Restaurant was very pleasant and tables nice and big with comfy seats. Had soup for starters which was excellent. Steak was fine but nthing to write home about. Not sure I get the hype about cooking it at the table though. Smoke and fumes everywhere with flying spitting fat flying left right...

We ate here last night having not been for a while. Not sure why it's been some time because we had a great meal. The steaks were generous in size and very tasty. The butters and sauces were excellent too; we tried several of them. The service was both very helpful and friendly. Top marks.

Visited for lunch today, as vegetarians after pub grub we were not expecting to be blown away. We went in and we're very pleasantly surprised to see items on the menu that sounded exciting. The lady who served us was fab. As someone who has worked in hospitality, I can be hard to please and very critical when it comes...

Lovely pub, would recommend the tapas at the bar! Great selection of beers and some good whisky too, stayed here for the night prior to my wedding. Staff were really accommodating and chatty, restaurant attached is also worth a look 😊

Just back from Henley music festival, stayed at The White Swan. Lovely room , spacious and comfortable with a totally mega en suite. All that was great but it has too bee said it is the staff that made our weekend so enjoyable! From the hard grafting Vicky , all the breakfast staff... Which was completely delicious by the way...

Went with friends and had the cod sandwich with sweet potato fries! Was nice although the cod was a bit greasy! Have been here for tapas and totally recommend it! Not that keen on the hot stone steak I'd rather have someone cook it to my liking rather than cook it myself after all I'm paying for someone to cook...
