All I ask for is clean and comfortable - the toilet had NOT been cleaned, nor the floor hoovered and the bed was the most uncomfortable bed ever you could feel the springs and the bedding was torn and worn. I emailed the hotel but they did not have the decency to reply.

The hotel was clean and bedrooms were great for what we needed. The staff were more than accommodating and let us store our bikes in the function room instead of locking them up outside. Lift wasn't working and after 120 miles of cycling this was a bit disappointing. We ate in the hotel chilli buffet which was horrible and I...

I feel as though this is a one trick pony. Accessibility to the M5 really is the only thing this hotel has going for it. First impressions are the key here; road surface was horrendous in the car park and inside towels were all over the floor in the lobby. The check in took a ridiculous amount of time, I...

Last minute business booking with all the usual places full so found this to be both vacant and cheap. Lets be honest, this is contractors digs as you can tell on arrival by the number of white vans parked up and the muddy boot prints on the stairs - theres nothing wrong with that, I used to work on the...

Cheap but very basic, bed hard, shower plug broken, loo roll holder hanging off wall, damage to lamp shade, tv very small, are missing from wall but tape up where it should have been. On the plus side, quiet night with good service from team.

Some of the reviews on here are a little harsh I feel. The location means it's never going to be like a 15th Century converted Coaching Inn! It's right next to the M5 so what do people expect? It's well linked to the Motorway network and has ample parking. There is a Bar and Buffet restaurant if you want to...

I booked in a hurry as I was on the road and didn't get chance to check out TripAdvisor. It didn't start to bad as plenty of parking & the reception area clean and staff polite. Once I was given my key and headed to my room the smell hit me of stale smoke and filth. When I opened my...

Stayed in Travellers Inn for one night. if you are looking for a cheap one night stay I would recommend, however.. 1. Room was really hot at night 2. Corridors smelt like smoke, although it is advertised as a "Non-smoking" hotel 3. Hotel was reserved via booking.com, reservation stated that continental breakfast was included. I went down in the morning...

Paid £88 through booking.com. Half this amount would have been reasonable - just. Checking in wasn't given a receipt as the guy was too busy. Had to go back in the morning. Up the muddy stairs to my room. Now then...Stunk of the all you can eat Chinese Buffet downstairs; light by the bed was hanging by the wires; curtain...
