We came here on a Saturday night as a party of 8 and had a wonderful time. The evening meal was absolutely delicious with no complaints from anyone, a tad on the expensive side but I suppose you get what you pay for. The room we were given (The Powell Room) was nice and comfortable with a very large shower...

Two night stay 2/3 October to visit relatives. Reception was a bit abrupt by the owner ? He didn't look that happy to be dealing with us on a Saturday afternoon. What he lacked in warmth, he made up for in efficiency. We were checked in quickly and the room was a short walk across the car park. We could...

We stayed here for one night whilst visiting family in the area. Check in was quick and simple and directions to our room really easy (just behind you over there on the left!). Decent parking facilities were available right outside our room. The room was a little dark however we were literally dropping bags off and leaving for our evening...

I stayed overnight in the Powell Room This is one of a number of bedrooms formng part of recently built two-storey block at the back of the site. It is well furnished and of ample size with a large en-suite shower/wc. A much more comfortable and homely room than an anonymous Travelodge one. I did not eat in the restaurant...

Quite a strange place but got a good nights sleep on a comfy bed. The room has a mezzanine for the bed with the ground level for a seating area and shower room. The odd thing is that there's no tv in the sitting area. There's also no wifi in these rooms which is odd. The hotel is 'pet friendly'...

the hotel is old an with a really poor decoration. I went before my appointment at 14h30, nobody was there and did not answered the phone. When I come back at 18h30 neither, hopefully the answered the phone that time and they came.

The Studio Restaurant & Lodge 616 Hagley Road West I met up with some friends who suggested we go here to eat, so a table was booked for 7:30. I certainly wasn't disappointed. Absolutely impressed with the quality of the food, service and decor, very charming indeed. For a Friday evening it was very quiet as someone else has already...

I visited the studio recently with my boyfriends family and I look forward to returning! I didn't know this place existed and now I'm glad I do and will recommend to my friends. It is a little expensive, but you pay for what you get. It's a nice treat. I had the lamb (which I'm usually cautious with as it...

We have just had the most fabulous meal at this restaurant. Really good quality and cooked to perfection. I have been coming here for years and it needs a really good facelift to bring it into 21st century and hopefully more people would then come. It needs promoting more - 8 people on a Saturday night is not right for...

It is unfortunate that this restaurant doesn't appear to get sufficient clientele to warrant opening. Whilst it advertises that it's open for dinner daily except Sunday and Monday, the reality is very different. The food is well cooked and delicious albeit a little pricey
