From arrival to leaving we had the most incredible service. The carriages are beautifully decorated while keeping the "romance" of days gone by. Breakfast was beautifully served. A great place to stay

My husband and I stayed for one night in one of the pullman coaches. It was lovely like stepping back in time. The coaches are all done out to a high standard. Very warm and cosy with coffee and tea making facilities with a good selection of each. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We had a hot drink...

This is the most unusual place we have ever stayed. From the moment we pulled up on a cold dark Sunday night, the staff were warm friendly and so welcoming. The renovated carriage we stayed in was so exquisite. Breakfast was served in the old waiting room. Fire was lit, fresh pot of coffee and a freshly cooked English breakfast...

Amazing stay in one of the Pullmans. Expected Poirot to pop up at any minute. Very evocative and atmospheric. Beautiful location, excellently decorated carriage and station waiting room. Very friendly staff. Breakfast was very nice and the tea served was excellent. Attention to detail superb throughout. Loved it and would recommend, indeed I have been raving about it to all...

Stayed two nights in early November in one of the Pullman coaches. Very spacious and great character with good, private, views to the gardens and woods to the side. Large bathroom; good water pressure in shower. Great breakfast, very nicely cooked and great service. Nothing was too much trouble. An all day fire in the waiting room/restaurant and very cosy...

Took my hubby for his 60th birthday as he loves trains. Stayed in the king Pullman, the decor was amazing with all the original wood etc. Everything there you need, hairdryer etc. tea making facilities. Bathroom was massive with a huge shower and a bath. On arrival you get tea/coffee in the station house waiting room, really nice setting. Breakfast...

What a wonderful place ! Such a unique setting and in the middle of beautiful countryside Easy reach of the sea, Chichester and Arundle and the South Downs. The Badger pub literally a few hundred yards up the lane is a great place for an evening meal The room itself in the carriage was gorgeous- great views over the woodland...

Not just for historic train lovers. Very much off the main roads and not overly easy to find. But really worth the find. Beautifully restored station building, very nice owner, and fantastic breakfast service. And the Pullman carriages are superb. Restored to all their glory - with modern touches that are not out of place. Quality touches

Stayed here for one night and what an incredible night it was! We stayed in the Alacante 2 and it was full of character and style. The warm welcome from the staff and complimentary tea/coffee and shortbread was a welcomed little extra. Enjoyed a glass of wine in the evening by the log fire - how cosy! Perfect nights sleep...

Loved the evocative and authentic carriages - actually expected it to be moving when first got on. Surrounded by wildlife. Had breakfast on the platform. Very welcoming hosts/staff. Lovely birthday present and didn't want to leave. Is some road noise when outside but it really didn't detract from the peace.
