Loved the evocative and authentic carriages - actually expected it to be moving when first got on. Surrounded by wildlife. Had breakfast on the platform. Very welcoming hosts/staff. Lovely birthday present and didn't want to leave. Is some road noise when outside but it really didn't detract from the peace.

Definitely a venue for a special treat as I had. Fantastic experience for lovers of trains and those looking to surprise loved ones. Fantastic lounge and breakfast area - the old station rammed with memorabilia but done to set a relaxing environment. The bedrooms in the old Pullman carriages very tastefully done keeping the character and the idea of luxury...

I have just returned from an eightieth birthday celebrations at the station. My step father has had a lifelong passion for the railway and this was the perfect place for the family to celebrate his birthday. It's quirky. Everyone in the family young and old loved it The carriages are cosy and comfortable with great attention to detail. The station...

Stayed on a Sunday evening with a Groupon voucher. As checkout was not until 3pm, we had a casual drive to Petworth, enjoying a splendid lunch at The Star in Market Square. We then spent the afternoon at the National Trust property Petworth House. Some stunning artwork, and grounds to stroll about. The turning to the railway station is slightly...

The first time I have stayed in a Pullman railway carriage and found it a pleasant surprise. Very comfortable and good breakfast next morning in the station building itself. Local pub 'Badgers' serving excellent food and drink 2 minutes walk away and a visit to Petworth house and park and a walk round Petworth town well worth trying.

It's not every day you stay in a train carriage, especially one as old and historical as these Pullmans, but you really should try it. The carriages are sat in a pretty, quiet spot just next to a river and a few yards from the Badgers, a lovely old pub. The rooms are, as you'd imagine, extremely atmospheric, assisted by...

Being involved in heritage railways and planning a surprise weekend break I couldn't resist booking. Our stay was split between being in a Pullman car and a room in the station building. Both were astounding in layout and attention to detail. Breakfast was excellent and the weather was good enough to enjoy breakfast out on the platform. In the station...

From arriving, they sit you down with complimentary tea and home-made shortbread really nice touch. The converted pullman train was a delight everything has been thought of. Breakfast was an intimate affair with the staff being on the ball, fresh fruit, you can then order cereal if you like and then a full English cooked to order very nice in...

Recently spent two nights at this delightful B&B. Our Pullman coach had been converted into a lovely bedroom with all the mod cons you'd expect in a hotel room. The bathroom was spacious with a bath and a large separate shower. The historic atmosphere was reinforced by small details such as old style suit cases placed under the bed. The...
