The Hotel is very comfortable indeed. The Manger Heather and her assistant with all the staff are highly efficient and friendly and could not be more helpful. The room was superb: very comfortable with a bath and a separate shower unit and plenty of hot water. The food was fantastic: plenty of choice and we had to ask for smaller...

Abingworth Hall is part of the HF Holidays group. They are the best walking holiday operators in the UK, so if you are a walker, they are ideal. The house itself is slightly quirky but well managed to the holiday formula of fairly set meal times, picnic lunches and dinners pre-ordered the day before and good boot/drying room facilities. There...

Abingworth Hall is one of the properties owned by HF Holidays. It is a perfect base for walking in the area of the South Downs, but HF also offer 'interest' holidays covering a range of activities. Room 16 is a spacious twin-bedded room with ensuite bathroom including bath but no shower (large plastic jug supplied for hair washing duties). Furniture...

My wife and I enjoy walking and this is a perfect accommodation to do this. Ideally located in the South Downs it is perfectly set up for walkers. I believe that they do arrange organised group walks but we chose to do our own. You don't need to plan your walks before hand as there are loads of laminated walk...

This is a smashing place (like many of the HF properties). You feel immediately 'at home' and at the same time enjoy the newness of an area not familiar. An ideal spot for exploring the Downs and the Sussex Weald. The previous positive Trip Advisor Reviews reflect my sentiments exactly. Well done the the Team and HF

Our first experience of a HF Holiday. If this is indicative of other HF holidays, then we shall certainly go on more of this type of holiday. It was brilliantly well organised, the food was good, and the hotel was like something you'd see in an Agatha Christie movie set in the 1930s! HF Holidays cannot be compared to normal...

A group of 18 of us spent a "walking and bridge" weekend based at Abingworth Hall. It is difficult to think of anything that it lacked in order to make it the perfect base for an activity weekend such as this. Admittedly there was the rather strange habit of abandoning the reception desk at odd hours but that didn't seem...

We stayed at Abingworth Hall for a 3 night walking break with a group of friends from Suffolk. There was much about our stay which was excellent. The food was good, and the service even better. The guides were very friendly and efficient, however as they were volunteers who may not know the area well I think they could have...

I was at Abingworth for a taster day of hf activities. It's a comfortable old house, nice conservatory, very pleasant garden with large lake, and a short steep pull up to a ridge with wonderful views of the South Downs. Lunch was sandwiches, and chips, but the company as usual was great. Really friendly, pleasant people. Do try an hf...

Room 18 was basic, very clean and comfortable, apart from the pillows which were lovely if you like sleeping on bricks! I did ask if there were any softer ones, but none materialised. Only there for 3 nights on a walking break, so just got on with it. Very good breakfasts, and good picnic lunches for us walkers. Evening meals...
