The hotel is extremely comfortable, made up of a set of buildings around the grounds. We were on the second floor of a large cottage-type building. The decor is sophisticated and warm in keeping this the cooler mountain setting. We were travelling in summer but the weather and the accommodation were a bit of a respite from the relatively unrelenting...

This property at Blackheath is situated in a lovely garden setting not far from the local shopping centre which has lots of restaurants to choose from and a number of shops to browse. We had an upstairs apartment in one of the townhouses which was well maintained and had all the modern conveniiences with the benefit of a beautiful outlook...

The place is absolutely beautiful, the service was good and the loft rooms were cosy. Breakfast if you opt for the full hot breakfast is great. Everything about it was wonderful, but since we spent most the day out hiking, we just wish we had more time to fully explore the gardens and use the spa! Only thing I would...

This place has the nicest grounds around the resort - lots of trees and grass. The rooms are really good too. Definitely worth having the breakfast included if you don't mind spending a little bit extra - the restaurant offers a great view of the resort grounds and the food is good too.

We stayed at parklands for one night on 18 February in two loft rooms which were interconnected. The rooms were spotlessly clean, contemporary, furnishings were beautiful and everything really was lovely. The grounds are amazing, we were able to take the children on a nature walk/run which they loved, picking up pine cones and feeling and smelling them etc. We...

Lovely hotel in a tranquil location. Great room (spacious and so clean) and beautiful gardens. Breakfast is truly marvelous. The staff were very friendly and eager to please. Exceptional service from Melissa, Eric and Hannah. Very welcoming and professional. Highly recommended if you want quiet comfort and elegant scenery (had breakfast with my kids at the terrace overlooking the beautiful...

We arrived at Parklands tired and listless, but immediately the peaceful calm washed away our city stresses and we immediately felt calm and peaceful. From the welcome at reception to the fantastic cup of coffee and then to the layout of our room. Really sensible, functional yet warm layout: walk in shower with 2 heads, light switches which are easy...

The first thing I want to say is that when this place gets it right, it's really right. Beautiful setting, modern but classic rooms, fireplaces, great amenities. I have visited twice. The fist time was with my partner and we couldn't have asked for a better stay. Everything was great, the second time I visited I was disappointed with the...

The property is impeccable! We got room 124- very homely loft. My toddler loved climbing up and down the stairs! The bath was a spacious one and the beds comfortable. The self help fireplace was what stole my girl's imagination 😬😬 we never ate at the restaurant.. the one day we turned up for breakfast the chef came late so...

Parklands is an odd combination of luxury accomodation and little service. Tried to ring and book a massage was told spa was run by Lilianfels and they would transfer me. Why advertise it if you don't provide it? Also asked for foam pillows on multiple occasions before they arrived as they seem to only have one staff member on duty....
