Looking for a weekend getaway we could not have found a better place to stay than The George. We were warmly welcomed, our stay was comfortable and cosy and were offered complimentary port and chocolate to enjoy for a nightcap. With an included continental breakfast in the morning we felt as though we could have stayed the whole week with... More

This was the perfect Blue Mountains getaway. My wife and I went for our first wedding anniversary (after getting married in Blackheath the year before) and were instantly made to feel welcome and at home. The high quality service didn't end there, and all throughout our stay they went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and well... More

On the 17th October I stayed with the George after a long day of driving. I was surprised by the change in name but agreeably surprised. The welcome was warm and friendly with the owner remembering my booking details. The dinner was excellent and very generous and the room spotless. This hotel has Old World charm that is in-keeping with... More

If your heading to The Blue Mountains to visit the amazing surroundings then do yourself a favor and book in at The George. From the moment we arrived we felt extremely welcome. The rooms were very comfortable with plenty of room, the staff were friendly and attentive and the food in the Blue Jax Restaurant was superb. Very well cooked... More

Stayed here with my fiancé for a night in September and what great find! The hotel has beautiful rooms and a great sitting room perfect for a red wine and a cosy fire. Being a boutique hotel, the service was fantastic and you can really do your own thing or ask for recommendations as the owners are very knowledgeable. If... More

We enjoyed a two night stay at The George Boutique in August 2016. From the moment we stepped in from the chilly Blackheath air, we had a very warm welcome from our hosts, Vicki and Geoff and were offered a complimentary glass of port in the Library beside a roaring fire. The George is handsome and historic hotel, furnished with... More

The apostrophe-free (apart from one old sign) St Mounts is an old house, with plenty of character. There is a formal room available for guests to sit in, as well as a very large breakfast-cum-television-cum-computer room at the back of the house, with plenty of space for guests. The breakfast is a simple self-service continental breakfast (which suits us), with... More
