We stayed here 1 night and can i say the owners are nice and welcoming the room was very clean, the shower very good warms up quickly also has a big thing in front of motel so u can have a photo with the big trout. heating was very good to warm the rooms no noise complaints from other guests like i have had at other motels it was a nice relaxing quiet fee. We did not try the Chinese Restaurant there so i cant say anything about it. Parking was funny where some people parking on 45 degree angles and others parking straight. Overall very happy with the place and service we plan to come back again to stay in the future Maybe one day you might join a Motel Chain such as Golden Chain, Choice or Best Western.

Looked a little dated on arrival. The lady on the desk was friendly and efficient. Organized breakfast - I only had cereal and toast, inexpensive and arrived on time the next morning. I got room 21. It was spacious and clean. Had aircon and a heater. Hot day so used the aircon, quiet and efficient. My room had a double and a single bed. The towels felt new, fresh and soft. Parked right outside my room and the parking area is all concrete. There is an onsite restaurant but I didn't use. All in all a pleasant stay.

Get better beds! And pillows. Unfortunately, the main reason for staying - a nights sleep - is very disappointing. Both the queen bed and the single bed in our room were incredibly hard, making it very uncomfortable to sleep. Even my 3 year old commented on it! Out of the 6 pillows in the room 5 were hard and unforgiving, the 6th one wasn’t great but did the job. Other than that, we had a great stay. Lovely view of the snow in the field outside our window with distant views to the hills. The staff were very friendly and the room was clean. We ordered from the attached Chinese restaurant and they delivered quickly to our room.

Nice owners, clean and spacious. The accommodation is showing its age but the rooms were clean with good facilities but limited wifi. The location is quiet and a short distance from the CBD. Restaurant was closed the night we stayed, as was most of the town.

I stayed here for work for three nights in March 2020. You couldn’t ask for anything more from a country town motel. The staff are friendly and helpful and the rooms are clean, with plenty of room. The team in the Chinese restaurant are super helpful and bring your food over to your room and do a chargeback for you. The bed linen and towels are of better quality then I would expect in a 3.5 star hotel and the room has a small mini bar drinks selection which is always nice when you get in late. It is a little bit further from town then some of the other motels but if you had a car that wouldn’t matter. The shampoo supplied is in sachets, so for more than a one night stay it would pay to bring your own.
