I've stayed at Caloola twice now and have had a great experience both times. Our hosts Bev and Richard gave us just the right amount of attention. I'd you're travelling through Walgett this is the place to stay.It's about 30 minutes out of town on a sheep property. The house we stayed in was spacious (3 queen sized beds, 1 single, 1 bunk bed) with a fully working kitchen, (even has 2 ovens), the bedrooms were luxurious with excellent showers. If you want to experience the real outback in style with authentic friendly country hospitality Caloola is the perfect place. Caloola is a working sheep farm about 35 kms outside of Walgett on the road to Moree and is part of the 'Outback Beds' programme offering the country version of B&B accommodation.
