As a family we have stayed here for more than 20 years and we have stayed recently and were not met with anyone friendly or helpful, we stayed in one of the renovated cabins (number 2) and there were many problems that if addressed would make the stay value for money, a teaspoon would be a good start and a check on light bulbs, a key to the back door and maybe a front door key that doesn't need fiddling around with to get it to work, a shower screen on the shower and an extension lead for the electric blanket so it can reach the PowerPoint, enough wood for the fire so we don't have to beg borrow and steal from the neighbours (sorry Mr Wooley) these are not even major things to fix but the management brushed them all off, if the returning families are put off this place it will continue to deteriorate as repeat business and good will keep it going, I give it 2 more seasons before it is bankrupt at this rate.
