For what you pay you would expect better. It's pitched in the luxury end but rooms have a feel of builders having run short of cash eg Kogan tv and weird fittings in bathroom. No signage on roads/paths to cabins. Poor exterior lighting for a bush setting. No easy to read signs for your cabin. Absolutely lousy parking. Biggish rooms...

Came here for a week with the family ended up being 2 nights complete disaster! The food was hard as a rock and clearly frozen, Wouldn't feed the food to my dogs, waste of money. The lake is beautiful stay and eat somewhere else!! This place is really needs some TLC! Literally can't say it enough!! Read the reviews it's...

Attempted to phone - tthree times - but no response - to make a ferry booking. When no respinse, we drove to Lodge. It was busy and totally under-staffed - hence poor service. This experience would put me off staying in house. Such a shame as location is amazing! Smacks of under- resourced environment with existing staff do best they...

We stayed here one night and found the Deluxe Cabin lovely and it felt more like a better quality motel room. The bed was really comfortable and the bathroom had a spa.The TV reception was unavailable the night we stayed ,not sure how often it happens. Getting to your cabin is a bit of an effort and if you are looking...

Stayed here overnight. Room and bathroom were large. It was a spa and lake view cabin. TV was not working - satellite had not been fixed since the last big wind. Fabulous gas heater kept the room toasty. Cabin 20 has a small deck - be careful to make sure the door shuts properly so you don't wake up with...

We had booked to stay here after completing the overland track so were definitely looking for a little luxury. Upon arrival we were given no information on the resort and had to enquire about the facilities. We only stumbled upon the laundry by chance. After the overland a shower was a high priority, yet within 1 minute of being in...

We stayed for one night at Lake St Clair Lodge in one of the lake side cottages with another couple during our two week Tasmanian Tour. The room were very comfortable, with a great bed and large living area. The room amenities were great, including the bathroom. The cottage have a lovely view over the lake through the light bush....

Fantastic spot. The rooms were very clean and comfy aswell as very luxurious. The bathroom was massive and the fireplace just delightfull. The room was a great size. The restaurant food was salubrious. We had one of the steaks and veges, it was like a party in my mouth. I want to go back in winter.

We ate here twice, after completing the Overland Track. The first night, the Fish N' Chips order was small, nothing remarkable, but tasty enough (perhaps because we'd been eating camp food for a week). Food presentation looked nicer than it tasted. Service was lackluster (there was no quality control check after the food was brought out). The second night, I...

We called in at the cafe for morning tea when we visited the lake. Thought we would try the "Special" Devonshire Teas. Ask for just one serve as it came with two scones and just ordered another coffee. Asked to upgrade the size of the cups - that was fine we were happy to pay the extra. Well I thought...
