Unfortunately we arrived in school holidays & it was extremely busy. We stayed 5 nights in the Pencil Pines Spa Cabin, & fortunately it was one of the farthest away from the lodge so it was very quiet.

Given the pricing remains high it’s a shame that little attention has been given to the buildings which are looking tired & care worn. Service also waxes and wanes from very good to bored. Disappointing.
Absolutely perfect location and the best breakfast I ever had! Loved their fresh home made jams and the baked beans. Decent coffee too! The main attraction is the enchanted walkway which starts right from the reception. Spacious clean big rooms . The only internet available...More

To enter the National Park you need a Parks Pass, available from our Reception or from the National Parks Visitors Centre. This will provide access to their shuttle service which operates frequently into Dove Lake where most of the walks commence. You can also bring your own vehicle however access to the Park is limited to around 60 vehicles at any one time. The Lodge doesn't operate shuttle services outside of our own grounds (Main Lodge to Cabins) We also have a range of short walks that cross through the Lodge grounds that are easy to access. Hope that helps
